part of the next generation of blues rockers. He has several other albums out too. If you are a fan of SRV, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Joe Bonamassa, and the like, then you will enjoy this.

I liked Devil Train. Has kind of a Johnnie Winter sound but the rest he screams to much and not very well. It's kinda like he is trying to be Johnny but doesn't quite understand when the scream or moan is appropriate.

I first saw Eric open for Steve Vai a year or so ago, and I've been a big fan ever since.His first album is a masterpiece of Texas blues stomp. This followup album, in my opinion isn't as good, or at least the production of it isn't quite as good. I still love it, don't get me wrong, but I don't hear the same complexity in his playing, nor the ringing open strings that defined his playing on the first album.If you can ever catch him live, do so. He's amazing.

Eric overcomes the traditional, infamous sophomore jinx by dishing out a second helping of smokin' electric dobro blues! The material on this effort is on par with his debut--in fact, some of the songs are catchier tunes than on his first CD, which shows his songwriting abilities are continuing to develop here. Eric also features an instrumental song, which is a great way to showcase his unbelievable slide guitar abilities. And the duet with blues legend Honeyboy Edwards is fantastic! Just two bluesmen sitting there in a hotel room belting out an old classic. It sounds like they're in the room with you!The only gripe I have is that the sound/mixing isn't as good on this CD. It's OK, but the drums and bass are a bit buried...some tracks more than others, anyway. Of course, after the first few songs I was enjoying it so much that I didn't notice the mixing issue as much...Overall, a great second effort by the greatest slide guitarist you've never heard of! (Actually, most people have never heard of ANY slide guitarist, which is a shame) BUY ALL OF ERIC'S CD's and enjoy music the way it's supposed to be....as Eric's back tattoo reads....RESPECT TRADITION!

Cet album vient compléter les deux précédents d'Eric Sardinas achetés chez amazon. Je suis très satisfait et recommande ce chanteur à ceux qui aiment le Blues. Il est dans la même catégorie que Johnny Winter.

イメージだけで購入しましたが素晴らしいギター弾きだと思いました。スライドバーをここまで操れる方がおられるとは驚きです。ずっとギターを弾きていますがスライド奏法に火がつき毎日特訓しています。全ての曲が古いテイストですがある意味新しく感じました。技を少しでも吸収していきたいと思います。
