The Intelligence of the Cosmos: Why Are We Here? New Answers from the Frontiers of Science

I mistakenly sent a prior review while trying to correct a spelling errors. If it is posted please disregard it. We all live our lives through with an adopted world view. This world view acts as lenses in glasses that construct the world as we see it. This book acts as a lense cleaner, by giving a particular hypothesis of what a scientifically and Spiritually combined world view would look like. It gives you tools to examine how you put the world together and how you might critically look at an alternative way of seeing the world. It is, as the book claims, not a simple answer but a Road Map that helps you move along the road of your life. Well worth the read.

Laslo is able to portray an integrated and ultimately meaningful cosmology, very clear and important exposition of our ultimate reality and methods to deal with our existential crisis

Lived this book. While most of the concepts were already familiar for me, this book really helps you to step out of the materialistic mindset and truly begin to understand the energy or vibrational fields that constitutes everything. Getting a clear idea of what “super coherence” entails.

An important and highly recommended critique of Materialism, with brilliant quotes from Jane Goodall and others. As Lazlo correctly writes, Materialism is obsolete. Lazlo need not take the credit for ideas on consciousness that are hundreds of years old. They were first purveyed in coherent philosophical form by Georg Hegel and particularly by Friedrich Schelling, and later by Alfred North Whitehead. None of these sages are mentioned in the text, nor in any other book by Lazlo et al. It's a huge oversight. What is being put forth in Lazlo's Mind of the Universe is, for me, a coherent discussion on the what, why, etc. of the universe, humans evolution, and the striking similarity between the science of the universe and religious and traditions based preaching of where we come from and where we are going toward and what's outside the universe. That's my take on his book and it resonates with me.

Great book to help expand one's mind of possibilities of our species evolutionary possibilities and gives one great hope for today's DEPRessing world ! Also Ervin is a true genius in my opinion...when one who is so brilliant as he ,can talk in terms for the average layman to understand !

The next step once you learn the dimension of consciousness permeates the universe. A great follow up to What Is Reality! It spends less time laying out the science and more on the application of this understanding. It reminds me how much I have yet to learn and the need to expand my horizons. It provides fertile ground to grow meditations where they never traveled before.
