Great for PT exercises at home
I needed weights at home for PT and these are perfect because I can adjust the weight as needed. I'm recovering from back surgery and particularly use these for bridges to build strength. Right now I'm using the small and medium ones. The medium and large are a bit wobbly and unruly since they're so big. I am going to follow advice from other reviews and get a weight bag to put them in. That will make them easier to manage and I really like the idea of being able to combine the different sizes to increase weight as necessary. I think putting them in a weight bag will also encourage me to use them for other exercises as I build strength. These are awesome! I told my PT he should recommend them to patients who need something similar.

Good Workout
Have only used them a couple of times because I just purchased them. I am using them for a workout challenge. Work great with water. I found them easy to fill using the faucet in the laundry sink. I didn't fill completely full because I wanted the water to move around so I would have to engage my core to stabilize the load. They seem to be durable, and no leaking.

Almost Perfect
I have purchased multiple of these bags in various sizes, and they have all held up far longer than the "high end" filler bags put out by the best bag makers. I couldn't be happier with them, except in the larger sized 120# bag. Why is the fill port on the side? It makes it an absolute nightmare to fill up by yourself. In the pictures, they are all on the end (which is perfect). So, why the change on the bigger ones?

Great safety item in spa
Alternative use: Fill each 1/3 with sand and use as footrests in chair height bathtub to mitigate drowning risk in elderly (where length of tub is an issue).

Very heavy material. Sturd
I’m in Florida and worried about flooding with the hurricanes. They were filling sandbags close by at Fire Station but they were too heavy for me to carry. Plus you need to remove them after storm or they turn into cement. These were thick & long giving good protection from flooding. Luckily we never flooded but secure from the elements. After the storm, we just emptied - dry out & store for the next use! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Strange smell
It works well in that it will definitely hold water. It didn't leak for as long as I had the bags I ordered. It makes for a great workout. However, this rubbery material gives off a very strange, kind of chemical smell, which kind of reminds me of pee, but that's not exactly an accurate description. It's just the closest thing I could think of comparing the smell to. It's not quite as bad as a real urine smell, but I did find it offensive, and what is worse is that the smell clings to the material it sits on or near, especially fabric. I had to throw out the small wooden bin I stored it in, because I couldn't get the smell out, even after I washed it with baking soda.

Great water-filled sand bag alternative
An essential part of our flood protection kit. We have larger tubes that do most of the work, but these help ballast the big tubes so they don't roll. We generally use the full adapter for the Hydrabarriers to fill the bags. Minor challenges for our application: -Handling them is a bit tricky; there is nothing to get a solid grip on. -Filling can be tricky. 2-person operation. -No extra caps are included. Bought some compatible ones though. Easy to lose in an emergency. -Hose filling adapter not included.

Works
I had triple velcro bags that came with my sand bag but they ripped. So far this bag has help up with sand and no issues. Filling the bag takes a little time but not a big deal. I used a funnel
