This sweeper is my new best friend. It works really good on LOW pile carpet. I use it on my runners in the house and in the garage, I have a big runner I use it on. My front porch is outdoor carpeted, and I use it there too. It's pretty durable, I have banged it on things, and it keeps on going. Its light weight and really east to use. It makes noise which is to be expected but the level is low. I did try it on my regular carpet but not good for that. It did work pretty good on my ceramic tile floors didn't push dirt around like in some of the reviews. I love it, I use it all the time. It came in I put it together, which is really easy attaching the handle and it seems like really good quality for a sweeper.

The Pros-value, for the money it works great. It picks up dog hair crumbs etc and leaves my low pile area rugs looking great. It picked up what I needed it to pick up. Assembly was easy enough. Cons-no good on ceramic floor. It moves bigger debris around. It does pick up some things but not well enough to use it there. Hardwood floor -it worked a little better but not enough to replace a broom or vacuum. I can not say how long this will last, we will see. I am 5'3 inches and have to bend slightly to use it. The handle could be a little longer but it was not difficult or cause much strain on my back, Overall for the price I would say it is worth it unless I have to replace it every few months. If it breaks soonish I will update my review as I will be using it daily to pick up dog hair.

Received today and immediately put it together and to work. Also got a Bissell to compare it to. Obviously cheaply made, but it does the job. I think it is a light duty tool. The holding compartment is larger than the Bissell and emptying it is easier than the Bissell. This picks up the fine undercoat hair of my itchy dog. It even takes on the fur bunnies and will pull them in (better than the Bissell). I don't know how long it will last but it is doing a good job on its first day of service. The cleaning brush is a nice thing to have - you will need it. Why a four star rating instead of 5 star? Because it is a good value and works - but is not spectacular. Nonetheless, I recommend it based on one day's use against the more expensive Bissell.

easy to assemble, takes very little storage space and works better than I expected. I can do quick cleanups without freaking out my cats with the vacuum!

An oldie but goodie sweeper is perfect to clean large area rugs or bathroom rugs just what i needed

This old time carpet sweeper works great! The only problem occurs when I try to empty the crumb or dust bins. They stick.

This very old school carpet sweeper picks up cat hair from my carpets. Could not believe what a great job it does. I use it every day, instead of vacuum and my carpets look great. So easy on my back to use, lightweight, easy to empty. Although it does pick up some things on bare floor, just use my swiffer for what it misses. Vacuum only needed once a week. Also price is amazing. Sometimes "old school" is better.

Bought this for my mother in law, she likes it. Lightweight gliding across both carpet and hard flooring. It is easy to use, it’s nice and stable for the elderly to use. The colour is a vibrant red, it is easy to empty. Assembling was easy. It functions perfectly. My mother in law says everyone should have one.
