EXCELLENT knife all around. PERIOD.
I donโt normally write reviews, but Iโm so frustrated seeing the ratings on a remarkable product drop due to some baseless complaints. I purchased in 2021. This knife was perfectly sharp when it arrived. I used it religiously and ABUSED it trying to put the ESEE product to the test. After nearly a month of running this thing through the wringer it had no chips in the edge and it sharpened back up with ease. I used this during a month of training in the mountains of South Korea during monsoon season. No rust. Held edge. No chips. Clip kept it confidently secured to my plate carrier running around in the woods at night, crawling through the mud, dragging across rocks, etc. I carried a Gerber fixed blade with me too and this knife at half the size performed BETTER. Iโve recommended this knife to others and nobody has any complaints, unless they lose it. Great value. Great weight. Fantastic product.

Skip Delica and Buy This!!!
This is the perfect EDC knife! It is so light, but yet I can still get all fingers on the handle. It is a little stiff opening and closing at first, but I just played with it and after opening and closing about 50 times, it started to loosen up. Now it flies out so fast that you would think it was assisted! The blade centering is perfect and lockup is wonderful. I have not adjusted the pivot screw at all and everything is just perfect. The AUS8 blade is razor sharp and holds its edge very well. If you are looking for a lightweight EDC knife at a great price, this is it! Skip the high priced Delica and buy this!

Reliable, sturdy EDC.
Great medium duty knife. The action is good for washers and a frame lock, the detent is good and it deployed reliably. It's good to know it can get dirty and wet, and still hold up with minimal care. It's thin, so it feels good in the pocket, but it will be uncomfortable with heavy use. Great, reliable, and reasonably tough EDC.

Best flipper for the money, I own many
In my estimation this is the best flipper for the money. High quality carbon steel, comparable to that of a Benchmade or a Spyderco. These really holding edge are very simple to use and are very sturdy. They thought about the design in that it has grip on the side not facing your pocket so you don't rip up your jeans taking in and out. ESSE is impeccable quality, I also own one of their Bushcraft knives. I own several SOG / Columbia River / Benchmade knives, even a couple Andre Thorburn's. This is my daily carry.

Impossible to open!!
This thing is impossible to open. I own several knives and bought this one as a beater knife for work. Yes itโs extremely cheap but I would say itโs not worth owning. Several other options are available at this price point.

Poor Quality and Extremely Poor Customer Service
The hinge on this knife is very stiff and opening the knife is very difficult. I am not small person and have other knives. For the money better options are available. I have attempted to return this item but the Seller wants me to pay for shipping and tracking -- perhaps in the hopes that I won't return it.

Everything you need, nothing you don't
I bought the larger avispa knife for gardening a couple of years ago, and it's still going strong. No rust, no chips, even the black coating isn't showing its age yet. The zancudo is all that in a edc sized package. It's a small drop point, plain edge, flat grind made of AUS-8 stainless. It's everything you need with no gimmicks. The closest thing to a flaw I saw in these knives is that the hinge is pretty tight when new. Don't loosen the screw, it'll get easier as the washer wears. Flick it open and closed for a while to speed up the process.
