This is my favorite instant coffee so far, good flavor, very smooth and strong. A little pricey but the consistency is good and it lasts me a long time even as a daily coffee drinker

I would never mistake the illy instant for good, fresh-brewed, black coffee, but it is the best instant coffee that I've tried. While not as rich as fresh dark-roast, it doesn't have any particular flavor defects, and someone adding cream would probably be satisfied. The very fine, insoluble grounds leave a little residue at the bottom of the cup, but probably help with the flavor; fortunately, they're so fine that the coffee doesn't feel gritty on the tongue -- unlike with some competing premium brands.

My second order from Amazon. The new can has a chrome look, the can I got last month was matte. Same expiration date, wonder which design is going to be permanent. Anyhow, great quality instant coffee. Once you get the amount right the taste is amazing. First time I added too much and it was not pleasant. I do about a heaping teaspoon per cup. Dissolves in cold water but give it a minute. Different looking granules compared to other instant coffee brands.

Voted best instant coffee by The Guardian readers, but I disagree. Not my fav instant coffee, but it works. Quality is excellent, just not the exact flavor we enjoy. Good to have around when making "real" coffee isn't possible or practical. We always take good instant coffee on vacation to ensure we have a good cup of coffee first thing in the morning. Not too acidic. Easy to use. A little on the expensive side and, IMHO, not really worth the money.

Was surprised to see just how small container was. It's not a superb value for quantity of coffee it yields, but the quality helps justify cost.

Great flavor and nobody knows I'm serving them insta-coffee and are impressed when I tell them! I drink it daily due to how flavorful and easy it it to make. I also often use it to supplement lattes if they are too milky

I love my dark robust coffee but there has been a few occasions where I needed Irish Coffees and didn’t want to go make coffee so I purchased this and it has a wonderful coffee aroma & great coffee taste in the Irish Coffee. I may try it next as a regular cup of coffee just to see its flavor but I’m a real coffee connoisseur so my levels are very high. I will report back if there is anything worth reporting. Putting coffee grounds in otherwise instant coffee does not make a cup of coffee better, especially when the grounds just end up sinking to the bottom of your cup, as if you ability to filter it was faulty : / I've been looking for a replacement for my, humble, and well loved Happpy Belly instant coffee, which was priced well and had great flavor. Unfortunately I can no longer find it here on Amazon, though it's an Amazon product. So I've been trying to find a replacement, for my morning Iced coffee. This is supposed to have 'character', but they do that by trying to imitate ground coffee, by putting ground into instant! It doesn't work. The grounds just fall to the bottom of the cup, while the instant that's left tastes a little burnt. That's not 'character' or flavor : l Im not able to send this back because it's a food item... Oh well. The search continues : l

A good instant coffee though I was hoping it would be a little stronger. The taste is good and I would buy it again.
