I much prefer this mechanical metronome to using an app - it's much faster and simpler than having to pick up a device & press buttons. This one is nicely made and a great entry level product at a good price.

Works fine , but ... WAY TOO LOUD !!! ... and a very hollow plastic sound ... so ordered a digital alternative with volume control !
