Dr Teal's Sleep Body Lotion, 24-Hour Moisture, with Melatonin, Lavender & Chamomile Essential Oils, 8 fl oz (Pack of 3)

I have been using this lotion for some time now, and I love the size of these bottles for travel. This lotion is great for my nighttime muscle pain and spasms. Everything calms down so that I can sleep. It works amazingly well for me! The fragrance is gentle and pleasant. The lotion is a nice smooth consistency that spreads easily. It really feels very nice on my skin! I have sensitive skin, and I have never had any irritation from this lotion. It is a great value for this three pack! I am very pleased!

I ordered this product for the sleep benefit. It has a relaxing benefit but doesn't necessrily put you to sleep. However, I love the fragrance and look forward to putting it on my arms and neck before bedtime because I love the scent. An added benefit I did not expect is how soft and good my skin looked after a couple of applications. I am 85 so that is saying something.

Works great for restless feet/legs and is a creamy and long lasting lotion. Smells great too.

I use this stuff as part of nightly routine for bed. (I have insomnia and a fair bit of anxiety, so sleeping is often rough.) Before this I used Aveeno’s chamomile lavender lotion, which was nice until they changed up the ingredients that messed up the scent and consistency. After trying out other products I came across this and figured I’d give it a go. The scent might smell strong or medicine-y to you at first, but if you’re familiar with Dr.Teals products I’d say you can know what to expect. Scent is nice and helps put my brain into sleep mode, which I have a hard time doing myself! Not sure how effective topically applied melatonin is, but this is at least much better for me than melatonin pills, which somehow had the opposite effect previously. This lotion feels nice as well, it’s Dr. Teal’s so if your hands don’t feel too sticky or oily if you’re concerned about that sort of thing. Wish this came in a larger size lol, I’d definitely buy! The bang for your buck is worth it for me.

Helps me to get to sleep with the lavender smell. Not greasy and is easily absorbed into your skin.

UPDATE: This lotion contains 2.4mg of melatonin per gram of lotion. For those that use a sleep apnea machine, please obtain approval from your pulmonary doctor prior to use b/c melatonin can relax your upper airways to much. This tube should be required to come with percentage of ingrediants label. I just recently started using this and I put it on my arms legs and back before I go to bed. It truly does make a difference. What I've noticed is that I may get up once during the night to go to the bathroom but I go right back to sleep, I don't toss and turn all night and probably within 30 minutes after putting it on my skin I go right to sleep. It's the most relaxing sleep ever. Not sure exactly how this is working but it works.

Love this lotion. It is such a nice, calming scent when it is rubbed on. I make sure I put it on both of my daughters every night after bath! It has never irritated their skin and my youngest's skin is a little more sensitive than my oldest. The consistency is thicker so that there isn t any leaking.
