LED Stop Sign Parking Assistant for Garage with Flashing Signal

This was a life saver in our tight garage. We had a low pole that is protecting our heating oil tank and multiple people had scraped the front of the car on the pole trying to squeeze it in. This functions exactly as described. I ended up anchoring it to the floor with screws otherwise it has a tendency to get moved around when people do inevitably contact it. I was reading the other reviews and if you want a less permanent solution then I liked the idea of putting circular weights on it.

This garage parking aid works great. I bought my first one years ago and it’s still in perfect condition. I decided to order another one for the other side of the garage and was happy that they were still available. I highly recommend this product.

The spring goes into the base. If you want the pole straight you will have to really get it down in there, no easy feat, I stood on top of it with most of my weight! Then you can insert the poles into each other and top with the stop sign. No the base isn't great, I bought a 12lb round weight meant for a weight bar, they are cheap enough on Amazon. It's not going anywhere now. The poles should be sturdier, these are not very good, I can't see them breaking easily. But for the price point, it's fine. I just needed this for parking my car in the garage. I have the tennis ball hanging from the ceiling, but it's just not enough. My SUV is a compact but takes a lot of room in our garage so I must park in a near perfect parameter for my husband to park his car as well. I live in Iowa and I dont think this is a standard size garage like those in Las Vegas, where I am from. But, nothing seems "normal" here, so there you go.

Easy assembly, the sign is easy to see in front of my Tacoma. The base can easily be reinforced with 3M tape or weights, or better yet, with a 2x4 measured and cut to your garage wall.

The base would not fit together because one of the two pieces was warped, as in slightly curved. I'll keep it and just use the stop sign in an old outdoor umbrella base with some duct tape. It's in the garage, so few will see it except me. Disappointing.
