Perfect lids for fermenting
So far so good, I'm fermenting chillies at the moment. 3 weeks in and the PH level is perfect, no mould and no burping which is great. These lids really do a fantastic job. Will be trying Sauerkraut soon and expect the same great results. Highly recommended if you ferment much.

Best thing I bought in years
If you make ferments these will make your life easier! I love them. Have been using them for a few years without any issues. Easy to clean [don’t put them in a dishwasher). Last forever. I mainly make kimchi and sauerkraut. Never had any bacterial contamination when using these lids. I don’t open the jars for 5-6 days. I tend to overfill to minimise air inside the jar, so there usually is some leakage, but with these lids it doesn’t matter, the liquid just comes out with ease (I keep all jury’s in a tray to catch it). You need wide mouth jars to use with these lids.

They fit on 0.5l kilner jars, not 1l
Haven't used them for fermenting yet but quality seems good, they fit on 0.5l wide mouth kilner jars, not the 1l ones.

Poor Advert Contact Seller before you buy!
They state it is suitable for Kilner Wide Mouth jars but it's not, it's too small! Or it maybe suitable for a specific type but the information is not clear. I then tried to return it via Amazon which was a nightmare, as Royal Mail came to collect it without a label and when you contact the seller, they say they only use DHL! So why did Amazon arrange Royal Mail! Shocking service, rubbish product!

Great gift
Bought as a gift - went down a treat! Can't comment on usage too much but I was asked where I had bought them so the recipient could buy more which is a good sign they are a good product! Great value for what you get too.
