Does the electric quilling pen need batteries? If so how do I put them in?

The electric quilling pen requires two AAA batteries. The top end twists to be able to open the compartment that holds the batteries. Easy to install the batteries!

There was no manuel with the quilling kit

Mine came with a "Quilling Kits User Instruction" booklet.
