I got my first chamber vacuum sealer last week and needed some bags to get things started. One of several reasons I wanted a chamber sealer was for the lower bag cost. I bought 1000 of these 8x10 bags to get me started. When these arrived I did some testing of various items with the chamber sealer and these bags performed flawlessly. I sealed some items with hard edges and had no punctures of the bags (3 mil bags). I think I made about 20 different seals just because I was playing with the sealer and familiarizing myself with it as well. At 4.3 cents per bag, you can't go wrong here. My Vacuum sealer is probably the MOST used accessory item in my kitchen so 1000 bags won't last me as long as you might think. I liked these so well I ordered the 10x13 size today.

We have a family of 3 adults so we are constantly buying meat in bulk to stock our freezers! We recently bought a Vevor Chamber Vacuum Sealer after our previous sealer died and we got tired of buying the name brand bags and constantly running out of them because there wasn't many in them. So we found these bags and they work GREAT, they're a great thickness and work excellent in our sealer. Plus, we bought 500 bags and I don't have to worry about running out of bags any time soon. We freeze just about everything in them I've done soups, ground beef, chicken, boston butt, pork chops, ribs, pork belly etc. and the seal has held everytime!!! Highly recommend this wonderful product, and will definitely be purchasing more when we run out.

These are thinner than named brand bags like Avid Armor but are also less expensive. The real test is will they successfully seal and then prevent freezer burn over long duration. I’ve only been using them 3 months, but so far, they work well. Food including delicate fish freeze well and seems to hold up. Lots of options on sizes.

In bulk, these bags are exactly what we need for our fledgling barbecue business. Three mil seems to be the exact thickness that we need. We started with the variety pack for different sizes before settling in on our exact dimensions. We prefer. Food safe. Sous vide safe. Freezer safe. Reliable seams. And the little rip tab makes it easy for opening.

Have been using 5 sizes of these pouches frequently with my chamber vacuum sealer for 2.5 months now. There is nothing more to want from this product. Zero imperfections. The bags are also notched for easy opening. I bought a "notcher" specifically for the purpose since that wasn't in the item description, but it wasn't needed. They have held up well to freezing, sous vide and microwave cooking. Once the bag contents is hot enough to produce steam in the microwave, the bag inflates with the steam. Actually a perfect way to know when it is hot. These bags will expand considerably before rupturing. Keep in mind that if you are putting sharp objects (e.g. bones, croutons) under heavy vacuum and they will be handled a lot, you may find the 3 mil to be too fragile. UltraSource will be my brand for pouches whether I use 3, 4, or 5 mil. For sharp items, a paper plate between the sharp item and the bag will generally keep the bag from being punctured.

We bought these to use with our Avid Armor Chamber Vacuum and found them comparable to that name brands quality and durability. They are easy to use and there are many sizes to choose from (we purchased the 6 x 10). These sealed well and protect your food from freezer burn making it last longer. In addition, we have even thrown the frozen bags into a pot of water to thaw/cook (even though it doesn't say it can be used for this purpose) with no issues or unsealing of the bag or loss of food.
