Buy Review: Good for newbies and experienced users - Excellent product for WAN/LAN gamers. The Gigabit ethernet ports have instantly increased the speed in our network. The wireless works great, for bog standard wireless (which makes it cheaper than other models and we weren't fussed about faster wireless anyway). 100% Plug & Play, however, the advanced options are easy to use and give complete control over your internet. The firmware/software that is automatically installed, for us, was the latest version, so no need to update. The Plug & Play settings also fixed our connection issues with our PS4. I strongly recommend this product if you're looking for faster, more stable internet. If you're looking for better wireless then you probably want to look at the N600 or higher. Review: Good as a basic router. Falls well short of expectations. - We bought this to route our cable internet. It does a good job with routing at speed and we use it daily to wirelessly stream movies to our TV. However the reason we chose this model/brand was the D-Link Cloud facility and in particular the supposed feature of monitoring what the kids were accessing on their laptops and on this it fails abysmally. Other than seeing what devices are connected and the ability to reboot remotely the Cloud facilities are useless and fall well short of the features promoted by D-Link. Good hardware let down by very poor implementation of advertised features.

Fast fast fast
The product was not intended for the use I wanted but nevertheless I tried it and found that it's easy to configure even for beginners and the gigabit via ethernet is impressive. I have a small NAS and never has a file transfer so fast.

Best value router.
Although relatively inexpensive this router performs brilliantly. Easy to set up. You can also set it up using an app on your iPhone. I did a lot of research on this came out the best for the price. I highly recommend this router.
