fan seems to be disconnected. should this be one solid piece or is it broken?

Thank you for telling us about this! If the fan is disconnected, then you have received a broken unit. We recently had a small manufacturing error and defective units were accidentally sent to Amazon. Please contact us on Amazon and we will send you a new trap right away! We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused and I hope to make it up to you! :) Sincerely, Helena KATCHY Support Manager

Where do I find replacement glue pads?

I used one of the replacement glue pads as a template on basic yellow sticky traps. Two discs can be cut from one sheet, and has the advantage of being double sided. Seemed to work just as well. MUCH less expensive and more readily available than the Katchy glue boards. Please understand that my problem was with fungus gnats. If you problem is with some other type of insect, your milage may vary.

Hi, this product came with glue boards? or I need to buy it separately

Thank you for the question! :) All the KATCHY insect traps come with 4 glue boards already included in the package. Should you run out of them after some use, we sell replacements on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GKG19MV Sincerely, Sandra KATCHY Support Manager

Works awesome for no seeums believe me you won’t regret buying one. I love mine. As a matter of fact I haven’t had one of them fly by my ear since my purchase. Had it about a year and a half.

Very effective

Bought a few others and returned them because they didn't work. This one works very well, catches any mosquitos and gnats that get in the house. Quiet and the light and fan can be adjusted. Worth the money

Catches a lot of gnats

These glue boards generally work very well for gnats. Occasionally when I open it to check, one or two gnats are able to jump off of the glue board and fly away. But the majority of them are stuck and can't move. Overall, the gnat population in my home is greatly reduced. Glad I bought the Katchy.
