The refil is an economical way of buying this. It really works very well, I spray my hostas every few days, or after it rains and they have virtually no slug and snail damage this year. The key to using the spray is to ensure that you spray both the top and underside of the leaves from when they first emerge and reapply regularly.

Despite my gardening friends, not believe me that this would work. It did the job. You need to put the solution on your hostels in February as that is when the slugs, etc. lay their eggs.

over the past 2 weeks i have sprayed this product 5 times with limited success.on some plants there seems to be less damage but with others it has made no difference.i will persevere with the bottle & see if it improves.

this really works i used the old product but they stopped selling it it was a little aggressive to other wild life . i started using this was a little dissatisfied to start with but after using it for a cpl of weeks found it really works to be honest to start with you will get slight nipples but they soon get idea and leave well alone now no damage thats the honest truth give this product a go you will be surprised

Well not sure what to say!! Sprayed my hostas and cana's as seen they'd been attacked by slugs or snails. They'd had 2 sprays as had some rain the day after I did the first one. Went out in the night to see if any slugs about and plants were covered in them!! It was like I'd sprayed a dressing on them for the slugs to enjoy them more!! Picked off around 100 slugs in half an hour from my raised beds so not convinced this actually does anything. Will revert back to my homemade garlic, chilli & onion spray for now to see if that helps.

Tried this according to instructions, spraying underside as well as tops of leaves, stalk - the whole plant. Tried it on several plants of different species that slugs had shown an interest in, all of them fairly well established plants. It did not work at all, the slugs were all over the plants within a few hours (damp, but no rain). I resorted to picking them off by hand. I tried the product again, and once more it didn't work. One of the plants has now turned yellow, though still alive (Grazer's calcium preventing uptake of other nutrients, I wonder?) Have returned the product for a refund as it is clearly defective. While Which? gave the G3 a decent review, G2 - slug specific - has not been proved to work.
