They looked good in the package, like real wood but when I had it in my hand it felt and looked like plastic.

Beautiful but each one was shaded. Good for my purpose. I put clear polyurethane on them. If you paint them they would be all the same.

I like the price for 4 of these appliques but you get what you pay for, as in any case and with this amount of detail carved out of real wood, really thin, real wood, you should expect the pieces to need some extra TLC and I was prepared for what I received. The 1st photo here shows one half of one piece that is just chewed up and it arrived in this condition but I also damaged it trying to correct the edges by sanding with a nail file. I sanded lightly, the wood chipped off and it looks worse. I am describing the issues for those looking for a smooth finished piece. Dont expect smoothness or perfection LOL. Each of the 4 pieces have defects but some of the issue can be sanded away.An extremely light sanding and thorough dusting of the nooks and crannies and I am happy. Although I am a little dissatisfied with their condition over all, I plan to chalk paint them and antique wax and distress them so for the price and how quickly they arrived, I am certainly purchasing many more styles of these wooden appliques.

These little wooden embellishments arrived in perfect condition snd will look very nice on the baby doll cradle I am building fir my granddaughter.

Good value. Nice quality. Not a lot of sanding needed. Color is patchy when stained, even with conditioner. Will try gel stain next time to see if that helps. Looks great painted though. Nice & crisp details.

Used it on my fireplace mantel

I spray painted this gold and used it at the very top of this wall molding. It’s beautiful and I love it.

Beautiful detail and sanding wasn't required. Unfortunately one was badly warped and couldn't be used. Was a perfect addition to give a little extra detail to a dresser I recently gave a makeover. I wanted something for the top drawer where my stencil didn't reach.

Very attractive scroll work. No way I could carve this myself. I'm going to glue it to the back rest of an outdoor wooden bench I made for my wife. I'll purchase more of this sort of thing for other DIY wood making projects I have in mind for the future.

This was perfect to paint gold.and apply to this dresser that I upcycled. It made the piece complete.
