NIV Pocket Charcoal Soft-tone Bible with Zip (New International Version)

Loving this pocket edition bible, it's easy to carry around and also has a zip. The font size isn't too bad, it is small though, so take note of that, otherwise it helps me that I now can have a pocket edition bible. Check the pictures for the font size

Received this the other day. It is excellent. The physical size is very good and is a nice size to fit into a bag. Not sure you can quite say it is pocket size, unless you could slip it into a capacious coat pocket. The fact you can zip it all round to protect the pages is very good and a welcome feature. The font is quite readable and I wear glasses ! Would I recommend it to a friend? Whole heartedly. Nice product.

Praise Jesus, I had a large hardback Bible, couldn’t take it anywhere and neglected reading it as much just because it was so bulky and difficult to use. But I’m obsessed with this one! It’s so light and slim I can take it everywhere and I pick it up and read it at home all the time. It’s a perfect size to fit in a bag, plus the cover makes it durable. I was concerned the zip was going to make it bulky, but it really doesn’t. It’s soft so it easily flexes with movement while protecting the Bible. It is small print. I’m near sighted and can read it fine, but at one point I gave it to my dad - who needs reading glasses - and unfortunately he said he found it difficult to read

I was a bit skeptical when I read the reviews but I was so happy when I got my Bible. Perfect size for my small handbags and I can carry it pretty much anywhere. Some people say the text is too small but I think it’s just fine, it’s readable. Hope the pictures help

*Leaving one star off because I'll make way for future update on item purchased. I read all the reviews before ordering, so I understand everyone's POV. When I opened the package, I immediately took it out and saw the few scratches on the boxed sleeve. Unfortunately, it has it does not have clingfilm wrapped around it, because that would have decreased the amount of scratchings. The colours are grey and orange, a nice contrast of bright and neutral. Taking it out the boxed sleeve and unzipping it, it is strong ang easy to unzip, the main cover is full grey and the first and back landing pages are orange. Just flicking through the book, the words are evenly spaced and has referenced lines at the bottom of pages. There are titles to each story/subject. The words are 6.75PT text easy to read. I can read the text well against the natural evening light. There is the orange bookmarker neatly placed and tucked in the fold. The Bible is about the height of my hand, and I can grab hold of it. so, this is great as a travel bible, when wanting to be off-screen to read God's word. What I like about the zipped bibles is that the bible can be well maintained, so hardly any creases and rips can happen, it is soft-toned adding to its flexibility, but not weak that it will be manipulated into any shape. The delivery was swift, I recommend this and the purchase royalties help the translation and distribution around the world. So I like this charitable business.

This zip bible changed everything it comes most places with me and fits in my back pockets. The zip is an amazing idea. It's easy to read and you can still add notes where space is.
