I got my 4th new to me BMW with only one working key fob. The second one lets me start the car and I have to use the key blade to unlock/lock. In the recent past, I lost the second key to a leased vehicle. After buying a new key fob at tune of $250+, I found the lost key after the vehicle was returned. The dealership was surprised to get a third set. Vowing not to repeat the same cost, I ordered these to ensure that I had two working remotes. I brought up a key programmer and found a low cost locksmith to cut the laser key. I programmed them both in minutes! I was not going to the dealership to get a new one made. They look and feel exactly like the OEM one! I keep one in the house and my better half has the third. It works better than the old one as the range is effectively doubled as far as I lower the windows to avoid opening the blast furnace of my car’s interior during this hot summer.

High quality and feel. Accurately described. Programmed up exactly as OE remotes right out of the box. Use: I added these to my E90 that has the Comfort Access option ie (fully smart: key can stay in your pocket/ door unlocks when you touch it/ one push start, key stays in your pocket option) as backups. Even though these keys are only semi-smart and so the key must go in the dash to start and unlock button used to get in, they work exactly as they should. No surprises. Programming using a km100 was simple like oe remotes. I highly recommend these.

Programmed up perfectly, not terrible quality and received fast

If I could leave no stars I would! Had a BMW key cutter and programmer work with these keys and they are garbage. Both came with dead batteries. He was kind enough to replace the battery and then still programming them wasn’t an option. Doors wouldn’t open at all. The only positive thing I could say is the key was cut and worked. The programmer gave us two BMW keys and worked perfectly. I’d return them but keys are cut.

My daughter received an old BMW 530i from her father as a gift. It only came with one key. We bought these and had a local automotive locksmith program and rekey them. They work perfectly.

Buttons feel cheap when pressed, not put together well. Used another brand instead from on Amazon for a little more and they worked great.
