Wow! Impressive build quality and value
Itโs highly unusual for ready to assemble furniture to be this good. I build a couple of dozen of these types of furniture every year, and my gold standard is the brand that rhymes with โpowderโ. This Prepac is designed and manufactured in the USA and it shows. All predrilled holes are tight, square, and perfect. Hardware isnโt made from thrown away tin cans and staples - itโs the real deal. Instructions are great and sensible. My only tiny knock is the pieces donโt appear to be labeled with letters or numbers like most other brands, but frankly the instructions are clear enough that it doesnโt matter for assembly. This is fantastic value for money, made in the USA, and heavy duty quality. I canโt praise it enough. It was actually a fun experience to put it together because it was like building a Mercedes as compared to a piece of junk. You wonโt be disappointed. Give these guys your business. They deserve it and will earn it. Bravo, Prepac!

Surprised and Impressed!
So, I just finished assembling this dresser and wanted to write a review while the experience is still fresh in my mind. Before going further, let me say that I have assembled many different types of this "you-do-it" furniture over the years (and have the extensive and colorful vocabulary of curse words to prove it), so I feel qualified to give a review. First, this baby is HEAVY. The UPS man trotted it up to my doorstep on his shoulder and sat it down like it was a sack of potatoes, but I couldn't move it off the porch. Once hubby arrived home, we got the box inside (he had to use a dolly, I don't know what they feed those UPS guys!). The parts were very well packaged and all the pieces were there, which was exciting. No serious damage. A slight scuff mark on one of the sides, but since it was going in my closet, I didn't particularly care. Once I began to assemble the dresser, I was pleasantly surprised. (Yes, I assemble, my husband totes. This is why my marriage has lasted over 30 years). The pieces are really solid for this type of furniture. Also, the manufacturer went to some considerable trouble with the directions. They are actually very clear (rather than being written in a dead language that no one has spoken for a couple thousand years), and have many helpful diagrams. They even color coded some of the parts for those of us who have trouble programming a DVR. (Note: you do actually need to READ the directions and follow them even though we all know that real men don't need directions. And no skipping ahead!). I was one of the lucky ones this time and all of my pre-drilled holes aligned and joints fit. Even so, it took me about 2 hours to assemble because the manufacturer put some thought into this thing and made it sturdy. Once complete, I'm really pretty happy with it. Now, something that I don't particularly like. There's no bottom on the dresser. It's open to the floor. Also, the back doesn't go all the way to the floor. This is probably not an issue if it's going in your bedroom or your closet, but if you intend to put it somewhere for storage, you may want to attach some plastic to the bottom/back of the dresser so you don't have little creepy crawlies make themselves at home in your drawers. Is there a gap between the dresser top and the top drawer? Yes. But it's only about 1/4" and I haven't seen one of these ready-to-assemble pieces that doesn't have gaps somewhere. The drawers fit surprisingly snug, however. I also am not crazy about having the cams on the inside of the drawer where my clothes will go, but that's not a show stopper. They don't stick out so that they're likely to snag on my clothes and I'll probably forget they're there by next week. It would be nice if the manufacturer had included some of those little plastic covers that snap over the cams. Overall though, I'm impressed with the quality and I feel it is worth the price I paid. I would recommend this piece to others who are looking for something similar. (Hint: when assembling, the drawer bottoms sometimes have difficulty sliding into the groove on the drawer front. If you loosen the cams on one side of the drawer, you can slide the bottom into the groove and re-tighten the cams. Worked every time!)

Compact, Functional, and Great Storage โ Just Know What Youโre Getting
I purchased it for a small bedroom space, and it has turned out to be a solid and functional choice โ especially for the price point. Assembly & Labeling: The assembly process was straightforward. All the pieces were clearly labeled, which made following the instructions much easier. Iโve put together a lot of flat-pack furniture before, and this one didnโt give me any trouble. Youโll definitely want a screwdriver or drill on hand โ and a little patience. Took about 90 minutes solo. Drawer Depth & Storage Capacity: Each of the six drawers offers decent depth. Theyโre not super deep โ Iโd estimate about 5โ6 inches of usable internal depth โ but theyโre well-suited for clothes, undergarments, small linens, or accessories. The vertical design makes smart use of space, and it holds more than I expected for its narrow footprint. Material & Build Quality: The dresser is made of laminated particleboard, and while the body feels decently sturdy once assembled, the drawers themselves have plastic runners and drawer bottoms. These arenโt designed to hold very heavy items โ so I wouldnโt load them with books or bulky electronics. That said, for everyday clothing and bedroom storage, it functions just fine. Sturdiness & Functionality: Once put together, the frame is stable and doesnโt wobble. The drawers open and close smoothly on the plastic glides. While not heavy-duty furniture, itโs more than sturdy enough for regular bedroom use. Iโd suggest anchoring it to the wall if you have kids around โ itโs tall and narrow, so safety first. Overall Functionality & Design: The dresser looks sleek with a modern brown finish that matches most decor. Itโs not flashy, but itโs clean and functional. Great for small apartments, guest rooms, or dorms. The knobs are basic plastic โ which work fine, but you could easily replace them to elevate the look. โธป โ Pros: โข Clear labeling and instructions for easy assembly โข Space-saving vertical design โข Surprisingly decent drawer capacity โข Modern, minimalist appearance โข Affordable price point โ Cons: โข Plastic drawer runners and hardware โข Not suitable for very heavy items โข Basic knobs (though easily replaceable) โธป Final Verdict: If youโre looking for an affordable, functional dresser with good storage and a clean look, this is a great option. Just manage expectations โ itโs not solid wood, but it does its job very well for the price. Iโd buy it again for another room.

Very satisfied with purchase
I did a lot of research before making this purchase. Iโm so glad I purchased this one. It did take some time to put together. We took all the pieces out and sorted them in the order we would need them. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I put this is our bedroom closet and itโs the perfect size. Itโs sturdy and well made.

Very shoddy product! Waste of money and time!
We knew this was going to arrive in a flat box and that it would have to be put together. My adult son is very experienced at doing this. But after he has it halfway put together and starts putting drawers in. We see that the drawers donโt even come close to meeting each other on the top or the bottom, huge gaps! we live in Hawaii so thereโs lots of bugs and geckos, and I didnโt want things running in and out of his clothes, not to mention the sticky residue from ocean air. Couldโve gotten one with fabric drawers, much easier and cheaper, but they donโt keep things clean. Tried To return it to Amazon, and of course to get it returned, you have to take it all apart again And try to box re-box! Obviously, we wouldnโt have put it together if weโd known it would be so poorly designed and made out of such shody materials. So you canโt tell that nothing fits until you put it together and then once you put it together, youโre asked to take it all apart again and try to get it back in the box and tape up to get your refund. So my son opted to get a partial refund and then try to buy things to try to fix it. I would have preferred to send back. but it was a lot of work to get it put together and then have to take it apart again, so I guess we are stuck with it,itโs just ridiculous! Itโs hard to get anything in Hawaii. I have to wait a long time and when itโs something like this that had to fit in such a small tall but narrow space there werenโt a lot of options, but I expected better than this! One of the most aggravating things about shopping online here and this is true of Amazon and other places, Home Depot, etc. you look and look to try and find something good that you can afford the shipping and that will come at some point and then after you make up your mind and you go to order, thatโs when they tell you that it canโt be shipped to Hawaii. They have my address they know where itโs going to. Why doesnโt it say doesnโt ship to Hawaii right in the beginning? Why does it wait until you get clear to the purchase point not just add in the cart but purchase point before they tell you that it canโt be shipped there, very frustrating, Just makes a difficult process that much harder.

Beautiful and solid
It's beautiful!! Very solid sturdy and well worth the cost. The pieces are not labeled for assembly but we didn't find that it was needed. There's some solid wood in the build and other pieces are mdf but a very solid mdf not the super cheap stuff. The drawers are a good size, even the smaller drawer is still a usable practical size. It's not a huge piece but it is perfect for us.

Nice but arrived Damaged
I ordered this and was really excited when it arrived in a few days after ordering. The next day after its arrival I opened box and the very top piece was broken. I was crushed as I was eager to assemble. Everything else appeared to be intact. Contacted customer service to find that they couldnโt just replace the broken piece but I would have to reorder and return the original I received. Being almost 70 years old I was worried about having to repackage and returning with box weight over 75 lbs. To my surprise when the replacement arrives I can contact customer service and they will send someone out to repackage and ship back because of the weight. Itโs a solid piece and very pretty wood. Looking forward to being able to use this piece. I purchased for use in my walk in closet. So hopefully in a few days Iโll be able to give a complete review.

Good stuff
The only cons are that the illustration for the left and right drawer sides are reversed. Easy to notice and figure out. Also itโs very important not to tighten the black screws that go into the back of the drawer faces. The larger drawers take four and the sides screw onto them. Not the long black screws for the back of the drawer. But surprisingly they must know whatโs going to happen, because they included two extra fasteners that broke before I realized it was too tight and not too loose. The instructions say 60minute assembly time. It took me 2 hours twenty minutes. It did say it was meant for two people to assemble, so therefore it was kind of accurate had I had someone helping me to cut the time in half. It is perfect fit for Childs bedroom closet. The drawers are sturdy enough. And seem to have a decent capacity to them. That is, if youโre going to be using it for baby clothes as I am. For an older kid, there might not be enough total storage for everything, but should be enough for each seasonโฆ as in you couldnโt easily fit summer and winter clothes in here for a teen or adult. The previous closet sized dresser we had was one of those metal and felt like ones. Like a cloth drawer. It was terrible and wobbly and this, being real wood, is a step above the cheaper ones. It is heavy, but will not tip over for that reason. Itโs not so heavy that an adult canโt move it around by themself. Drawers open nicely and fully, and it doesnโt have any โnew productโ smells. Packaging was great and overall the assembly was easy. It wasnโt necessary to have little stickers on everything so youโre peeling off โAโ โBโ stickers after assembling it. It has glass-looking knobs for the drawers. Itโs just a cosmetic thing, but I wouldโve liked a metal type like a dark brown or black. Iโm sure I could buy a set to my liking should I find that it bothers me that much lol

Great drawer for price!
Assembling this drawer system was every easy and smooth. Everything is labeled properly so there are no mistakes when assembling. It is also very sturdy compared to my slightly uneven floor near the walls. The tracks are really smooth and color coordinated for assembling, making sure that you don't cross tracks. It is not like Ikea who uses mostly particle board. It actually has very strong wood so you know it is strong. The only thing I do not like is the wall mount that comes with the package. The drywall screw did not work out as planned or what it was supposed to do. But all in all a great drawer for the price and storage.

Amazing workmanship!
Over the last several months, I've bought several pieces of furniture that need assembly - mostly tall shelves for my bedroom and living room. And I've been shocked over and over again by the shoddy quality of the manufacturing process and the unclear instructions - even though I read the comments carefully and hadn't seen any warnings. I've had to ship back more than half of them for a refund, and I got to the point that I decided to never again buy wood shelves - just metal ones. But I needed a new dresser, and this one fit the bill - just the right size. Most of the reviews were good, so I took a chance. First - Yes, it's incredibly heavy. And that can be a problem these days when delivery companies leave packages at your front door - and I live on the third floor with no elevator. (I'm a 68-year-old woman - fairly strong.) So I was incredibly lucky that the UPS delivery woman took pity on me and carried it upstairs for me. She told me she only did it because I'm a senior, and her boss would not have been happy to see her do that. She was young and strong, but it was still incredibly difficult for her. I offered to help her carry it, but she said she was trained to do it, so she insisted on doing it herself. At one point, she rolled it end over end up the stairs. Wouldn't it be great if companies began shipping heavy packages in two boxes? So I was a bit nervous, because if the product was defective, there was no way I could take it back to the post office. Second - I was astonished at the quality of the workmanship and the clear instructions. I went slowly and methodically, following the instructions to the letter, and had no problems at all. Took two or three hours. (Had to laugh at the guy who complained about things that went wrong - clearly he doesn't believe in reading or following instructions.) Third - I screwed in everything by hand until I got to the end. Then it was much easier to use an electric screwdriver to put the final screws in the drawers. Fourth - inserting drawers. I was a bit worried because I had a few problems inserting them, but I soon realized that was just my mistake. If you roll them in carefully, they go in perfectly. I think it's possible that the company has corrected mistakes that it made in the past because it was beautifully packaged with no damage at all and almost the perfect number of screws. I had three left over. There was a slight odour, but not unpleasant. Companies that do this quality of work need to be rewarded, so I recommend reading comments carefully and buying only from companies with excellent reviews. The final piece is beautiful and sturdy, and the handles are high quality. I'm delighted with it and can't wait to use it. At some point I may paint the drawers.

Classy look, easy to assemble
This dresser being a slim design and taller to get the 6 drawers, is perfect to save space in a room and still have adequate storage space. It was packaged very well. The instructions were super easy to follow, one person can assemble. The finished product is very sleek. Ended up buying a second one for the spare room. Great buy, highly recommend โ๐ป
