This is the BEST range of animal toys ever! The children love them!! They last very well and inspire great imaginative play!! I’ve bought several in this range and can’t faint them!!!!

Bought these for our 4 yo grandson who is animal mad. He is very keen on accurate representations. The German made market leaders are good but very small and very expensive. These are altogether different, much larger and great for a small child to get to grips with. He loves them.

Expensive but great toys. Word of advice: they are way bigger than they look, so if you want some 'average size' animals go for something else, it may be cheaper.

Brilliant I have bought all the sets. My children love them. They are quite big, realistic and just great fun.

Having seen all these creatures in Canada, I gave this set to a grandchild. It is a huge success because the animals are large and easy to play with if you are 4 years old. It was easy to paint a landscape for them to inhabit and the leaflet rightly suggests that talking about each animal and its life makes it very interesting. I would have given 5 stars if the bull moose antlers were larger; they are the antlers of a young moose! An excellent present for an infant that cannot easily hold or play with Schleich animals; the large scale is much better.

My 2 & 4 year old love these animals. Great toys, detail, size and colour. Would recommend.

My boy loves them! Great size ; easy to grab and they look very nice! They come with a little book with ideas of activities and fun facts about the animals which I particularly appreciated; it brings an educational side to the game.

The Forest Animals is basically a very nice toy. PROS: Nice large size animals Soft, light, feel nice and easy to hold, quiet, unbreakable. Realistic and also good looking and colorful Acquaints children with North American wildlife. Somewhat expensive, but was on sale and free shipping! From what I could tell, the sizes of the animals correlates well enough with the Farm Animal set, (though the domestic horse and cow are a bit small in *that* set) so you can use them together and children can learn the difference between domestic and wild animals. The main improvement I can see is to have more such animal sets! Only the bear is native to our west coast region! Would love to have a local animal set, including some such animals as raccoon, a deer family, tiny ground squirrels, elk, condor, raven, grey fox, coyote, etc. Family groups are nice, too IMPROVED DESCRIPTION: Good! - gives the size of an animal, instead of just the box size!
