Does this support high refresh rate monitors. i have a 144mhz monitor that only works through the dvi port. will this work or will i be stuck at 60fps

I'm not sure about the refresh rate. We're using them on basic business pc to standard older dell monitors that don't have display ports.

will this handle 144hz?

I'm afraid not. Dual-link DVI supports 2560×1600 and is capable of 144hz refresh rate. However this adapter is single-link and is only capable of 60hz. You may want to invest in a DP to Dual-link DVI to achieve 144hz. Hopes this helps.
