We have taken our FlameKing fire pit on over 10,000 miles of road trips camping, nothing beats a nice wood campfire, BUT... this is awesome, can use this quickly, and efficiently, we use at camping festivals and its the best since it complies with zero footprint, leave no trace areas. Plus after listening to music until late night, you can start a fire in a second, no smoke, no sparks, and cools down very quickly so can have a nice fire before bed when camping with zero hassle, highly recommended

Great little fire pit, kids love cooking their hot dogs and marshmallows around it. Warms the area and just cut the gas and it’s off. Very convenient. Recommend!

The performance, appearance, heat output, and size were ideal. I wish I'd bought a fire pit like this for camping sooner! I love the pumice rocks, which seem nearly weightless. The whole unit packs up very nicely for transport. My photo doesn't do it justice; the quality of the flames through the rocks is excellent, and it throws off a good bit of warmth. Once you get the knack of this, it is terrific. The price was also competitive when I bought it. I withheld a star because the setup instructions were needlessly complicated, requiring a lot of reading -- and you MUST read them because the control is not intuitive. The rubber-like knurled knob rotates freely unless you squeeze it (safety misfeature or broken??), and nothing on the control wheel aligns with the indicated markings ever (it is a possibility that mine is actually broken). I'm still not sure how to get the piezo starter to work consistently, so about one out of four times, I still have to use a lighter. Otherwise, I can recommend this as a budget unit. I will update if it doesn't hold up with use.

A great replacement when a campfire isn't permitted. It's fairly large, but puts out decent heat above the level of the metal bowl. Incredibly easy to setup. Nice long gas hose so you can keep the tank away from the fire and concealed. Definitely worth it.

Perfect addition to the back porch set up was easy

I bought this for our camping trips. We were tired of caring firewood and our firepit. We didn't like smelling like smoke too. This fireplace is perfect! Great size. The video shows it on high and the photo is on medium. It provides enough warmth to sit outside at our campsite. Granted we are not camping in 20° either. Probably more like 50-60° at night. We love the long gas hose that comes with it. We love the self-igniter. We did hook it up to 5lbs propane tank. The carrying straps are a nice bonus too. Easy to move. So glad I bought it. I would recommend for camping patio, lake or beach to keep you warm. Next trip I will have a little table to put on so it doesn't sit on the ground. More heat at your level when your sitting down by the pit. Constructed well. Nice and sturdy. Would recommend. Great puce too.

The product itself is great! Easy to set up and use, gives off great heat. They sent a used one, though, instead of a brand new one, which was a bit troublesome.

The Flame King fire pit was damage upon delivery. Very unsatisfied with the customer service, getting the run around from both Amazon and Flame King.

Paint was bubbling and peeling when i opened it. It works but looks like crap. The lid is warped and doesn't sit properly. Not happy with this purchase.
