Protect your hearing and get these :)
Took these to a rock concert; they did great. I could hear the music and my ears didn't hurt. I'm sound-sensitive and can't handle fire alarms. When I pulled one out for a moment just to check, it was really obvious that things were a LOT louder without these. I put it back in immediately. It's kind of hard to hear people talking or yelling next to you when you have them in, plus I tried to sing something with these in and couldn't hear myself that well so I'm sure I sounded hilarious. The case is nice to have and they were comfortable to wear and easy to use.

Little bit muddy but great for the price
I got these for a last minute concert I was going to, because they were the cheapest pair I could find quickly and honestly they worked fine. They did make the sound slightly muddy, but honestly not bad and 100% worth it to not be in pain after the concert. Especially since I was near the front and very close to a speaker. The carrying case these came with was also very nice and helped me keep from losing them.

Works to cut sound volume without detail loss better than foam
Works to cut sound volume without detail loss better than foam, but still too big for those with small ear canals and being black they are lost forever if you drop them in a club. On the plus side... you don't want hearing loss, especially if you love music, which is most likely why you are viewing this product. I'd say for those with normal ear canal sizes this probably is fine.

Used at concerts all summer long!
I love that these take away all the extra noise at loud concerts so I can hear the singer and like the individual instruments so much better. I can also hear people talk to me during loud music, but I have to pull it out of one ear to talk back and yell or they can't hear me.

These should not be called musician ear plugs
These Fender plugs block all sound completely, which is not my definition of ear plugs for musicians. Definitely not recommended for singers. Maybe if you're in a metal band, or have to stand next to horn players, these would be a good choice. However, if your band keeps to a reasonable volume, but you end up next to the drummer a lot, or you need to take the edge off of the volume on-stage (so your ears are still happy at the end of the night), but you still want to be able to hear your fellow musicians a reasonable amount, you should look elsewhere. (Ear Peace is very good, for example)

Came as pictured, work fantastically
I am using my mother's account to write this review. I am a senior in high school, who is a guitarist and works in a shop every day. I have been using these for a bit now and they work fantastically, following the instructions about opening the ear canal before putting it in results in a comfortable fit for my relatively big ears. I used them during my shop period and heavy power tools were being used. As a musician, my hearing is very important, so i put these in and they cut down the volume greatly, however i could still easily communicate at normal levels with my classmates and teacher, This is a fantastic product and i would highly recommend them to any musician who needs to keep their hearing in check

Works.
As a concert videographer and I have tried several options, like the foam kind that DO NOT work, this has a little pressure to it, but with the stem, it makes it easier to insert and pull, just beware of the pressure as it's like inserting a small plunger, but minus that discomfort, it works for sound dampening.

Work well at band practice to lower the volume but still hear the rest of the band good. Don't really like the rubbery cable band holding them tho.

For £12 these are a steal. Like many musicians I use earplugs on stage (and listening to live music) because I don’t want to go deaf or develop tinnitus. I own a number of different brands and they’re great, frequency transparent, good attenuation, comfortable, etc. The Fender ones have the best attenuation on the market (27db) that I can find. So I purchased some to give them a test. They come with a nice see-through box to keep them in and a springy plastic cord to keep them attached to each other. At first I didn’t like the cord and considered taking it off but, in use, I found it to be extremely practical. The ear plugs themselves are comfortable to wear for long periods of time and they do cut down noise levels considerably. I found I lost some treble frequencies but not to an annoying state. And, being honest, if you stand near a drummer who is playing cymbals damping down those high frequencies is a blessing. I’ve purchased several more sets and stuck a pair in each of my guitar cases and one in my bag of cables etc. So wherever I play I’ve always got a set in case I forget my ‘posh’ ones! I also keep a pair in my pocket when I go out just in case there is a live band or DJ performing. I’m not keen that they are black in colour so they’re not especially discreet but they work really well. For £12 there is simply no excuse not to have a set to miss out on hearing problems for life. Buy them as your main ear plugs, back-up set or just to carry in case you are exposed to high sound levels - you’ll thank me in later life!

As I am getting older I realise that my hearing has been damaged by very loud concerts. Used these recently and was very happy, comfortable fit and reduced sound by at least 50-60%. A recommended purchase.
