Great for post concussion relief, and support for recovery. It freezes well, and stays cooler than other brands. Its thicker, which probably helps with retaining the cold longer! It stays in place on your head! And the stretching and elasticity makes the fit snug. The Black is great if you have light sensitivity! It blocks out mostly, any unwanted light.

Both items fit fairly well considering that I am a small person. However, I am disappointed in how long they hold the cold. The standard is 20 minutes of cold then 20 minutes of heat. And when you have a traumatic injury, the last thing you want is to be constantly having to get up and go get another ice pack every 10 minutes. So, yes, at this point I am disappointed with how long they hold the cold and would consider sending them back.

I highly recommend this set to anyone who may have migraines, or tension headaches. It works so well in relieving the pressure and throbbing of my headaches. It worked so well I purchased one for my son who also suffers from migraines.

I love these. I purchased three sets to keep rotating in the freezer for when I work outside. They are short lived but I find it just the right thing for cooling down quickly. They also refreeze quickly. The neck and head packs are a great combination. I like the material as it is smooth flexible and comforting. A great product that actually performs as advertised.

I bought this for my wife. It fit perfectly and stayed cold for about 15 minutes. It was very comfortable and we were very impressed with the quality of the product. If you pull over your eyes, it blocks the light completely.

I reordered this item for my daughter who suffers from migraines. It works really well and is excellent value for the money. I find if I leave mine in the fridge it’s the perfect amount of cold. However the shoulder wrap works well in the freezer. I would highly recommend this cold pack system. My daughter loves that it came in pink too

I've had nightly migraines for years and ice is the only thing that helps. It's hard propping the bumpy ice packs around my head while I'm trying to sleep. This new hood encases my entire head and is very cold for about 15 minutes and then a little bit cold for an additional 1/2 hour. I wish it stayed super cold longer but still, it really helps me and is far better than the bags that hold beads/beans. After 45 minutes I swap the hood with the neck wrap (which is also easy to wrap around my head. They are really thin so takes up very little room in the freezer. The large sized one fits my very large head with room to spare. Also, it's super soft and comfortable. I'll keep using my ice bags along with this (because the ice lasts most of the night) - but I'm getting rid of all my bulky bean bags. I plan to buy another set of these so I am ready for even the worst nights. I wish I knew about these years ago.

These are frigging awesome. They work great if they’re frozen. Makes it nice and cold on your head when you’re having a migraine or when allergies have taken over. Reduces your eye bags and helped so much with neck pain I love this hands down. I would so much recommend this to everyone who has migraines or allergies.

Has been a life saver when I've had a really bad migraine and my pain meds haven't kicked in yet. Thankfully my pain meds work pretty good but if I don't take it soon enough or if it's a really bad one it can take a while to kick in. So i used this a few times and it was nice that i conveniently covered the areas i need it to. Much better than what I had previously been using. Now my son often uses it for his swollen ankle.
