The perfect solution
Needed a temporary fix to a run in a tree after the arborists chopped the cable. This worked fantastic until we can replace the cable completely. Download/upload speeds are running at peak performance! Product arrived quickly, in good condition, and at the right price. Highly recommended.

Truly waterproof, solid ethernet connection
These waterproof RJ45 couplers are excellent for outdoor network connections. The IP68 rating means they're truly waterproof and the connection is solid. Great for outdoor ethernet runs.

Great product
Very pleased with the quality and durability of these. I ran an extensive length of cat6 about 10 inches below the surface of the grass. I had a few connection points I wanted to be sure were sealed from water/rain and exposure to outside and these are perfect.

Coupler GOOD Water Proof...
I use these in ground boxes. Connection wise I've never had any issues. I recently have had massive corrosion on some. Pictures show both ends of the coupler was damaged. UPDATE: after I posted my original review the manufacturer reached out to me. They offered to replace my order with new and refund my purchase price. I thought it unfair for them do both and opted for them to replace the damaged couplers. They sent me the replacements with and upgraded version. The upgraded version has an orange color instead of the blue. The newer version also supports cat6a connections. I was very impressed with their communication and offer. While I absolutely had the failure. In all honesty it could have been something my team didn't do correctly. Maybe they didn't tighten the coupler correctly, maybe the wire was just a bit out of spec. I've had many product failures from Amazon resellers. None have stepped up as VCE has done.

Used to upgrade botched install
This ethernet coupler is excellent for outdoor use. The previous installers for our outdoor camera system used a cheap indoor rated coupler that failed in under 3 months on our roof. We have since switched it over to these couplers and the system is back up and running again. These were incredibly easy to install as you just need to unscrew both ends and insert the network cable thru. It seals the cable in as you twist the cap. Overall, I would recommend these for outdoor use to make sure your camera system stays up and running!

I use with 3/4" junction box holes
Works perfectly with junction boxes that have 3/4" outlets. I use some burial rated, shielded network cabling for exposed portions. The great thing about a setup like this, is while there may be SOME exposed or otherwise unprotected cabling, and in turn there is flexibility in placement and mounting of the camera. And, worst case scenario would mean having to re-do a small portion of cabling. So... do you want flexibility, or not? After considering other reviews, I can say the way I'm using these plugs is distinctly different. I am not submersing anything under water, but I am using it to protect cabling from rain and the elements. One thing I know, is even if something is rated as waterproof, I'm not going to trust it to go as others would think. Waterproof the waterproofing. Sounds redundant, but maybe take some time to consider best practices against your method. In the same vain, I wouldn't trust using it as a junction box connector in a place where water can collect, like on the ground. I know I'll be buying more of these, because I can find comprable solution at a cheaper price as of yet.

TUTTO PERFETTO!! Grazie

A more compact version of the longer edition VCELink also sells on Amazon. This worked really well for connecting ethernet cables through an attic for linking a WiFi access point to a network POE switch. The bulk of the cable run was done with leftover CAT 7 cable (yes, CAT 7 not needed but the hand-me-down worked well) of around 8mm diameter, to Cat 6 cable which was nearer to 5.5mm. I needed to carefully trim the waterproof silicone cable grommet to ensure it sealed around the small diameter cable, but that was a success and it's all as dust and waterproof as it will ever need to be. Super easy to fit the RJ45 plugs and screw into place. The fit and seal was ideal around the 8mm cable. I've used two of a pack of three couplers, and retained the third for future network additions. I might add that I've used the older, longer VCELink coupler versions in exposed settings outdoors for POE cameras and they're still going strong 4 years into their deployment.
