TL;DR: buy the premium kit, it’s fantastic quality at a reasonable value. I love giving my dogs baths. I have two English Springer Spaniels, and regularly bathe a mini Aussie shepherd and a lab-husky mix. My use case for this was to have better Flow control, water combing and rinsing for shedding season and lake day cleanup. I had been using our regular handheld shower head with a 60” hose. Needless to say this was less than ideal, especially for the lab-mix. This DogShower kit (I got the premium) comes with a 8‘ hose, the shower head, a 1/2“ NPT Tee, a vacuum breaker and a quick connect kit with a spare barb. I set this up with the QC at the head end (the manual says to place it at the Tee end, which is fine if you only use the hose for the dog shower). I put the spare barb on our regular handheld shower head and only swap the DogShower on when needed. The quick connect is plastic, and looks a little cheap but works great. The actual head is awesome, the broad shower is nice for wetting the coat and sudding, while the half stream is more powerful and great for rinsing out dirt and soap. The head has approx. 3/4“ long rubber jets (the “comb”) that allows you to dump water directly onto the skin, past the wet coat to dislodge dead skin and dust. I compared this to the Waterpik Dog Shower and decided on this one because of the included accessories and trust in Grohe.

This handheld dog sprayer is absolutely amazing. I groom several dogs weekly and it is such a time saver. It also helps consume water and rinse the dog much more thorough and quickly. All of the settings are wonderful and help speed up bath time. I also like the different settings because when you’re grooming, younger puppies, a softer spray is much more accepted, especially when you’re bathing them for the first time.. After three dog showers the hose broke

We have a few pets in the house, so we have a dedicated shower built into our mudroom to clean them. That shower is outfitted with a Hansgrohe shower set with hand wand. It has served us well for 15+ years so far. However, when I saw this head, I had to try it. Glad I did, my bathing averse pup tolerates bath time a lot more…almost enjoys it. The head installed by just unscrewing the current hand shower and screwing this one on. No teflon tape was required. If you don’t have a hand wand, you can install a diverter on the shower head and install a hose with this head on the end. This wand has relatively low pressure, which has proven to be nice for the dog…but also for our cockatoo! The cockatoo almost falls asleep while being bathed with this wand. As I show in the video, there is a stream setting, a half setting and a full head setting…and you can activate higher pressure turbo mode from any of those. These are all very nice, flexible options to have. However, the game changer is the flexible bed of nozzles that you can use to massage the dog (or cockatoo). You really get in there to clean and it is soothing for the animal. This isn’t a must have item, but it’s very nice and I wouldn’t want to go back to the old way now. Also, I have a bunch of Hansgrohe and Grohe fixtures throughout my house and haven’t had a problem since installing over 15 years ago. Quality has always been solid, so I expect the same here.

I take my 2-year-old Standard Poodle to the dog park every day, so he can romp around off-leash, often in mud and water. When we get home, I need to bathe him. I've been searching for the best way to get him into the shower stall and clean him up as quickly and comfortably as possible. I got this shower set from Hansgrohe, and have been using it for several weeks. It works pretty well. INSTALLATION The package arrives with all parts well-protected. I had everything out and ready to install in 3 minutes. The instructions are good enough. It took about 15 minutes for the full installation -- gathering the needed tools, actually installing the handshower, then cleaning up. Take your time following the directions, as a couple of the parts are not intuitive just looking at them. But the instructions will get you through it successfully. OPERATION Prior to this, I had a less-expensive washer, with a flexible metal hose. I liked the hose in my previous shower, but that older one did not have good water output. With this one from Hansgrohe, the water output is better -- a nice, wide shower effect, which allows me to cover a good area of my dog's fur. But the hose is very stiff. I had hoped it would loosen a bit after some use, but it has not. It's not so much a problem while bathing, but between uses the stiff hose makes it a bit awkward to wrap this up and out of the way. A button on the head lets you quickly switch to a stronger spray. The button does not have a "lock" position, so you have to keep pressing it to maintain the stronger spray. It's in a natural spot on the shower head, so this works well. This handshower works really well for either quick rinsing, or for full shampoo sessions. The stronger spray is effective, even when my Poodle is overgrown. The spray is also very gentle, which my dog appreciates. The mechanism for diverting the water to this shower head is easy -- just pull a cylinder out to turn on the handshower. Push it back in to return to your normal shower. CONCLUSION This is an easy-to-use shower head that will make quick or extensive dog-bathing easier. I recommend it.

The Select water mode works great for giving the dog a good clean shower.
