Timetec 16GB KIT(2x8GB) Compatible for Apple DDR3L 1600MHz for Early/Mid/Late Mac Book Pro(2011-2012), iMac(2011-2015), Mac Mini(2011-2012) MAC RAM

After doing some research on this memory, it was reported and found to work in other manufactures laptops and computers, hence my purchase for my Lenovo ideacentre. As long as you follow the specs as in DDR3 CL11 1600, 1.35-1.5volts you're good to go ! So you're maybe wondering why I purchased 2X8GIGS of memory made for MAC ? Well its a least £4 cheaper for the same memory, 'thats not made for MAC', 'maybe some sort of marketing ploy' The I'm made for MAC thing,. If anything I would of thought it would of been the other way around as in the MAC memory would of been more expensive,. The memory works great and is of good speed and steady voltages, I got this memory along with a 2nd hand Intel i74910MQ CPU, The improvement is superb and going from a i54200M with 8GIG of ram has made a massive improvement from a 2013 product, along with my Samsung 1TB SSD I reckon this upgrade will last me at least another 7 years, So only £60 for the memory and £100 for the CPU, a cheap way to keep things up to date on my now very fast 'general use' computer.

I wasn’t sure if my old Mac Mini (2012) could be upgraded but research online led me to these memory upgrades. Fitting was very easy even for a novice, if you’re not sure search out help videos on YouTube. My Mac Mini was up and running within a couple of minutes yes it’s that easy and worth doing if you want to prolong the life of your Mac Mini.

A product that does not disappoint. Does the job as it intended with my iMAC late 2014 model. Has started running faster. However over time it will start slowing down. That’s only due to the CPU being an older version. For those who have a newer model, would definitly recommend for the value.

Both cards arrive within a day, well packaged , and undamaged. So easy to install, just unplug from the back of the Mac, this reveals a push in button above the socket, push this in and the panel above pops off, lift the two tabs either side of the compartment, insert/ take out and replace other cards, push the RAM cards in firmly till you hear a click, push down on the tabs, and refit the panel, re connect the power lead, switch on and away you go, went from 16 to 32 RAM in under five minuets. If you have like I do a late 2015 iMac, and you look under about this mac and it will say you need the 1600Mhz cards, some providers will tell you you need the 1867Mhz cards, either will do BUT if you have the 1600Mhz cards fitted you CANNOT put in the 1867Mhz as well, you need all the cards to be the same frequancy, you cannot mix and match. Luckily I was directed correctly or it could have been an expensive mistake. I will defiantly use Timetec again.

As the title suggests, I was very close to parting with £2,500 of my hard earned cash to buy a new all singing and dancing Macbook Pro. Then I stumbled across a YouTube video about how this guy upgraded his old Mac to out-do the performance of new ones. This memory upgrade is an instant fix to make it faster. Videos in Adobe Premiere Pro render in no time at all and start-up is marginally quicker. Apple's support page says my MacBookPro9,2 (13-inch, Mid 2012) will only support a maximum memory of 8GB. But this is wrong! My machine is now supersonic at 16GB RAM. Furthermore, this is great value for money when you take into account my bank still has £2,500 left in it for me to play with. Crucial Memory retails the same spec for over £100. Now I've got the upgrade bug, the next job is to replace the battery which now only holds half its charge and to swap the HHD with a SSD. Then my trusty mac will be better than new! Give it a try.

Ho comperato queste due RAMs perché ho fatto un upgrade al mio iMac 21 del 2012 che aveva solo 2 banchi da 4GB, ed un vecchio HD SATA. Devo dire che queste RAMs sono perfettamente compatibili con iMac non ho avuto nessun problema di installazione ed il sistema operativo le ha riconosciute subito senza nessun problema e nessuna configurazione aggiuntiva nel bios. Questo upgrade ha apportato al pc un notevole aumento di prestazioni. Consigliate.
