Review: I just love, love, love this DVD collection - I love this 3 x DVD Box Set, not just great value for money, but wonderful workouts. Jessica is a superb instructor; she has a wonderful personality that really comes out in this collection. The cueing for each exercise routine is very good, the set is well put together and within all exercises routines, there are beginner options demonstrated by Debbie her mum and an advanced option by her friend Beth, Jessica does mainly the intermediate options. All the workouts flow really well. I have to give this collection 10/10. Although they are from the Walk On series, they are not just walking workouts, some of them when done with the advance moves are much higher impact and really get you puffing, but those new to exercise or those recovering from injuries or with weak points i.e. knees, back, hips, then the low impact/beginner options are great to do, helping you to work up to the intermediate and then advance when you're ready The 3 DVD Box Set is broken down as follows: DVD 1: 3 x Weight Loss Walks. All these workouts include the warm up and cool down in each one. There is also a very helpful countdown timer which appears, when you have 10 minutes to go, which really helps you keep motivated. Workout 1: 15-Minute Calorie Burst. Is a great workout to do if you haven’t got much time. It provides you with a mixture of interval training exercises. Workout 2: 30-Minute Fat Blaster. This really gets you puffing and the different moves in this routine gives you lots of energy and you certainly know you will be burning fat. Workout 3: 40-Minute Mega Burn. I love this work out, it is easy to follow and you can ramp up the moves if you want to, to make it harder or pace yourself according to your energy levels. Bonus section: 15-Minute Standing Abs workout. As the name of the workout says, you do not need to get on the floor for this abs work out. You work your core muscles fully in this routine. It is effective to help prevent back pain too. There is no timer on this section and is with Jessica on her own. DVD 2: Major Metabolism Booster. These workouts include the warm up and cool down in each one. There is also a very helpful countdown timer which appears, when you have 10 minutes to go (not on the bonus though) which really helps you keep motivated. Workout 1: Pyramid Power Walk (30 minutes). Wow this is a work out that will get you puffing when you reach the middle of the work out at its peak. Basically, Jessica cleverly uses the pyramid/mountain metaphor in this workout. If you’re a visual person like me it helps in this workout. You start out low-impact as if you’re climbing a mountain, then about 10 minutes in for just over 5 minutes you reach the top and you change up to high-impact if you want to, if not always follow the low-impact option. You then at about 16-18 minutes in start to slow it back down and finally cool down, apparently it keeps you burning more calories for hours afterwards. Workout 2: Strength Interval Walk (30 minutes). A good balanced fitness regime is to mix aerobic exercise one day and a strength workout the next day. This workout balances this brilliantly. This one will help with your metabolism and produce leanness in your muscles. You’ll need hand weights for this workout or if a beginner use your own body weight. Bonus: 20-minute Chair stretch. Lovely workout, 1 or 2 moves a tiny bit complicated at first, but once done a couple of times you soon master it. There is no timer on this section and is with Jessica on her own. DVD 3: 5 Day Fat Burn. These workouts include the warm up and cool down in each one. There is also a very helpful countdown timer which appears, when you have 10 minutes to go (not on the bonus though) which really helps you keep motivated. Workout 1: HIIT Walk (30 minutes). Phew this one can be tough (but not as tough as the HIIT walk in Jessica’s previous DVD 21 Day Weight Loss Plan, that one is a really tiring HIIT workout). This is a high intensity interval training workout, still based around walking movements. You do a number of low impact moves, then a minute or so of high impact moves, then back to low and the cycle starts again. This workout claims to have anti-aging benefits and slimming ones. You certainly know you’ve worked out afterwards. Workout 2: Toning Walk (30 minutes). This is a lovely body toner session; you will need a resistance band for this, which you can buy one cheaply enough on desertcart. All the moves help boost muscle mass, whilst burning fat. Bonus: Healthy Back workout (15 minutes): Again, you’ll need a resistance band and a mat for this bonus workout. It helps your back keep healthy and strong if you workout regularly. There is no timer on this section and is with Jessica on her own. This whole box set is all you need to get fit and lose weight. On the back of the box is a 30 day plan suggesting the workouts to do on a day to day basis, to avoid boredom and to give you structure to your workouts. I just love, love, love it. Thank you Jessica for being so brilliant. Review: Great after operation. - I got this set after a mastectomy because I was desperate to get back into shape after chemo weight gain and wasn't yet allowed to go running and the like. It is brilliant for anyone who wants to move but can't flap about to the usual bouncy exercise DVDs. That said I still worked up a sweat and got a good work out because the pace can be quite fast. No, really. (But it's not tricky!). It is very easy to adapt to your own limitations, whatever they may be, and she has two minions (one is her Mum. Nice touch!) who do more or less than she does as an example. She is also sickeningly slim and pretty and quite motivating to look at. She has a nice style of speech too. Sometimes these things are annoying. The fact that most workouts are 30 minutes makes it very accessible if you are feeling like you haven't much time or can't be bothered today. But you can also do a couple back to back if you're feeling virtuous. I love the fact that it's a 30 day work out. I don't do these every day as I do other things like walking or Zumba now but have got to day 12 and have only repeated 1 work out so far. I don't think I've tried them all once yet. There is a schedule on the back. It's so important to keep it varied and I'm still keen to pick these up and get moving on the days when the weather makes me want to stay indoors. I recommend these for anyone wanting a low impact (she does v occasionally jog but you can walk) work out. I just left out the arm bits to start with on one side, and gradually used mine more and more as I was able. Oh also a little clock comes up and counts down your time to the end in the last few minutes of your work out. Nice, having the end in sight. I think I'll be using these for some time to come.

Great after operation.
I got this set after a mastectomy because I was desperate to get back into shape after chemo weight gain and wasn't yet allowed to go running and the like. Jessica is the only keep fit person I have stuck with on video. She is fun and she keeps things moving without going over the top. Having shorter sessions helps fit in time during day. The only thing I miss is not having someone to correct my posture, and it's not always clear from these DVDs. Great though, I'm sticking to it and that's what counts.

AT LAST....DVDs that can be easily followed!!
I HATE exercise classes, boot camps & circuits with a VENGEANCE! I love walking in the countryside. I used to run but this is too high impact for my joints in my mid-50s. I tried a couple of the 10-minute DVDs & hated them equally - they were too fast with little explanation of the moves - especially for someone with as little arm/leg co-ordination as me - despite some very misleading reviews! But AT LAST - these DVDs - can I believe I am saying this?.... I actually am ENJOYING them. Jessica Smith is neither patronising or annoying. She is encouraging & explains things clearly; she gives lower level options too for those needing them. You sure know you are working out (especially if you have been out of a fitness regime for as long as I have). The moves are easy to pick up - I do have a few uncoordinated moments but can soon regroup & pick up what I should be doing. Thank you, Jessica - I can scarcely believe that I have something I know I can & will do in my own home...trust me I can always talk myself out of such things. Big thumbs up so far. I also love the routines like the Chair stretches which are great to use after any of the workouts or in isolation - easy stretches to soothe & aid your flexibility! I can only encourage others to try these DVDs if they feel they have been failed or misled by others on the market.

Fantastic Fitness DVD's.
I bought these dvd's based on a review on here by Liz and also information she gave me via the comments of her review. I have done various workouts over the years, dvd workouts have been Davina (but couldn't stand her constant talking and jokes that were only funny the first few times of hearing them..) I also have done Rosemary Conley for some time a while back, I tried doing those again but was a little bored of them. These dvds by Jessica Smith are really good... Personally I don't think I will get bored with them.. After such a long gap in doing aerobics I have found the exercises a challenge but I do have to say that I am on day 16 today and I feel better for having done them.. I do intend to stick at it. Everyday feels different with these dvds. The only thing I would change would be the music... something modern and fast would be good. I would definitely recommend these dvds to get fit. Optional extras to go with this are Weights (I bought a full set from local sports shop for fifteen pounds!) also from the same place I bought a yoga block and although I bought bands from Amazon I could have bought them wrong with the other items locally. All these extras I have used with the dvds.. Oh also I would recommend a Fan for beginners !

This and all the other Jessica Smith DVDs I have purchased are wonderful fun, as the movements are varied and highly imaginative. I am naturally slim and so am not interested in the weight-loss aspect, but instead in feeling good. I'm 66 with no prior exercise experience and am able to do all the workouts. Several options along the difficulty scale are offered. The music is pleasant and the setting lovely. The walks not only improve fitness (I can feel it in the way I breathe) but also build muscle and increase flexibility, balance, and coordination. I think they're good for my brain too. And they're so much fun that I look forward to my daily workout times.

Amazing
I have Graves Disease and wanted to increase my fitness and I wanted something that was joint friendly . I am unable to do the things that I could before my illness due to joint pain . I am now on week five and I can honestly say that this is one of my best ever purchases . I enjoy doing the workouts and feel stronger and more toned . They are helping with my stress levels . I like the way that you can do the harder option with Beth or the easier option Jessica's mum . I am going to buy some more of Jessica's walk dvds as they are incredibly motivating . Highly recommended.

Love these - more challenging than Leslie - a nice change
I waqs so excited when this DVD set arrived yesterday. Sadly, now I am disappointed because ALL THREE DISKS are defective. The 1st one (5 day fat burn) played for about 3 minutes and then became pixelated before freezing completely. The 2nd. One (3 weight loss walks) won't play at all, and the 3rd (Major Metabolism Booster) skips constantly. I have contacted the seller and will update this review when I hear back from them. UPDATED January 28, 2017: I contacted the seller and they replaced the DVDs with a new set. These ones are all in good order. I have done a few of the workouts and have to say I am loving them. I have been primarily working out with Leslie Sansone the last couple of years but had reached a point where I didn't find her workouts very challenging any more. So far, I am finding these these to be giving me the challenge I was looking for without a lot of bounding and jumping. My heart rate is in the cardio zone for most of the workout (compared to just 2 or 3 minutes on a good day with Leslie). My average beats per minute for the whole workout is up around 20%. I also like the recommended rotation and the mix of cardio and strength training. I think these were just what I needed to kick things up a notch. They are kind of pricey but I highly recommend them.

Excellent Workout; good choice of music; fantastic instructor
Fun, challenging workouts, and plenty of variety to choose from, along with great music and scenery. Jessica Smith has a wonderful personality, is really motivating, and is an excellent instructor. I'm definitely a fan and recommend her workouts highly. Her DVDs always feature three levels to choose from, and definitely deliver. Ever since I discovered her DVDs I look forward to trying something new every day, and find myself in better shape, growing stronger and more flexible daily. Thank you, Jessica!

Bon programme

Can low impact be fun? You bet...
I can't call myself a recent convert to Jessica because I have her first exercise DVD by Women's Health. I have not done that particular DVD in a long while (still have it); but I do remember how I enjoyed her personality. So recently I was looking for a new exercise DVD's and I rediscovered her again. I have her other walking DVD's and I haven't done a review yet. I just received this on 8/31 and for this set I will do a review. She is as usual a friendly and engaging instructor. I actually look forward to working out with her. The first previewer of this DVD set gave a detailed break down and the information is close to what I have experienced so far. First, this is what I like about this new set, she includes two strength training routines at 30 minutes for each. The strength training routines have a slower walking pace and that makes it easier to concentrate on getting my form right. I did the routine with the exercise band and it took some getting used to. I will have to do it again to get a better form during the routine. The routine with the dumbbells seemed easier to me. So far, I have done the HIIT walk and I loved that one. I have done the Pyramid Power Walk and that was fun. I actually threw in a bonus workout after the 30 minute Strength Interval Walk because I felt I needed more intensity. Here is what I like about this set and not in any particular order, 1) There are five 30 minute routines and this is a big deal because she accomplishes a lot in the routines she provides the home exerciser. 2) She has three 15 minute workouts which means there is no excuse not to exercise (two of the workouts are bonus routines) 3) She has nice extended 40 minute routine for more calorie burn or for more of a challenge 4) Because of the variety I can mix and match the different routines to my needs, in other words; I can challenge myself by adding another 15 minute workout. If I have a 'I don't feel like exercising day' just do one 15 minute routine. Or if I can do three 15 minute routines to give myself a long exercise session. The options she gives a home exerciser with this can go on and on. Jessica is the one to go to for viewer engaging low impact walking routines. Her enthusiasm is genuine and I look forward to exercising with her and her crew.
