Does what it says

1. My barber recommended it and I wish he had done it earlier. 2. No one notices it - unlike the others where you either go from 'white' hair' to the 'black hair.' This is really subtle. Even my wife has not picked up on it. 3. Easy to apply. I have a military 'flat top,' and hence, the tube does for two [2] applications. 4. Instructions state that you use the supplied 'plastic gloves' to 'apply.' Don't bother - the product does not 'stain' your hands making it easier to massage it thoroughly through your hair. 5. Is there a negative? A wee one. You need to apply [repeat] it every couple of weeks and it's not that cheap. That said: as I am a 'guy' I don't spend, as my wife does, a fortune on 'makeup!'

Overall good product, but 4 stars as it just doesn’t last long . Max 8days . And you have to redo again to get the salt and pepper look again

Not as effective as it used to be, same as some other reviews. Touch of Grey may have changed the ingredients or simply old stock as many places seemed to have discontinued it. Arrived quickly with Amazon. Don't need Amazon Prime but it gets pushed at the customer too much.

Spending a ridiculous amount of money on my highlights every 8 weeks at a Mayfair salon, I was skeptical of using this product to counter the creeping-in grey which is encroaching my side burns. But during the covid lockdown period I had no alternative; and my sideburns were almost white! I’m a natural mousey brown colour but highlights make me fair / ash colour. I didn’t want a dye for my side burns which would be too dark or drastic. I worried at first that this was a “brown” colour and not suitable for light hair, but I decided to give it a go. I was happy with the result! TIPs: use the gloves (I didn’t the first time and got stained fingertips); wash quickly any drips onto your sink so it doesn’t stain; and it’s better to do less several times (and leave on no longer than five mins) than do too much at once or leave on too long. I used the comb on my side burns and really happy with the result. The shading was not drastic and it blended in to my fair colour. After a second application there was very little grey and I genuinely feel 5 years younger. Recommend for touching up paranoid grey areas.

Is there a mix up in the factory? When did this product become blonde / brown? Used to be back about 6 months ago, but now every package arrives blonder and blonder... bizarre

In the package you receive a tube of colorant, a comb that screws onto the tube and a pair of plastic gloves. Don't use the comb as you'll waste colorant that travels along the inside to reach the comb's teeth. Use an old comb, spread the colorant along the teeth and comb through your hair. Do this all over and leave for 5 minutes before rinsing off. The instructions tell you to discard what's left in the tube as it spoils once the air gets to it. Bearing this in mind I quickly screwed the top back on after use. It lasted another 2 sessions!! When your hair is first covered in colorant it will look absolutely black. Don't worry as once rinsed off I hope you'll be as delighted as I was. I was completely grey to start with but once the colorant was rinsed off my hair was dark (but not excessively so) with a hint of grey showing through. I was delighted with the result. I left it for 2-3 weeks then re-did it and the result a slightly darker colour which lasted longer. Psychologically this gave me a tremendous lift.

I’ve used this Just for Men Touch of Grey for a few years now, and it’s my favourite hair dye for men. It gives a natural blended salt ‘n pepper look, that lasts for weeks. I use it after I’ve had a haircut, and do it again after my next cut. I have short hair, so this tube lasts for months making it excellent value. When I’ve squeezed a bit of the dye out of the tube, I then squeeze out all the air and screw the cap back on. Great value, hope they never change it !

Sono di mezza età, ho i capelli completamente bianchi e vorrei ottenere un grigio non freddo, o un marrone cenere brizzolato, non tingerli in maniera evidente. Usavo Control GX ma si è rivelato poco efficace sul bianco anche dopo molte applicazioni. Questo prodotto copre già dalla prima applicazione. Unica pecca, il colore nero, sul bianco, da riflessi leggermente violacei e poco naturali. Probabilmente va meglio per chi è naturalmente nero brizzolato. Proverò il marrone scuro più in la, o proverò ad alternarli. Per capelli bianchi ci sono poche alternative, per questo do cmq 5 stelle.

I’m not one who normally dyes their hair but at 51 y/o and being 100% GRAY haired, I decided to give it a try after my kids told me my hair was looking “blue”. That made me feel VERY old. So I looked at options, I didn’t want ONVIOUS dyed hair color and since I’m a natural blonde, I went with this. It was easy to use, I did it while getting ready for work one morning, you just comb it in with the applicator. I also did my eyebrows, mustache and beard. Color turned out great! I’m a lot less gray but not noticeably so. It blended wonderfully and I look a solid 10th are younger.
