perfect for the job
Purchased this and the drain bowl at the same time. Needed to drain a radiator in my caravan to top up the anti freeze in the system. These work great. Not one drop went on the carpet when using the drain bowl, and refil was easy with the bolt on dosing tool. Saved a fortune using these instead of paying a plumber.

Add a rubber washer
Works fine, however I'd recommend you add a rubber washer to get a tight seal and avoid scratching your radiator. I added a rubber washer and used it to add inhibitor, silencer and leak sealer to my system with no problems. It's very exoensive for a bit of plastic and a threaded fitting and I really think it should come fitted with a washer already for the price.
