Excellent for Mazda mx5 2010 reg

Used this for a my Audi TT 225 Quattro only use quality oil and this definitely is the perfect oil gor this car

Perfect for the servicing of the rear drive on BMW motorcycles (with shaft drive).

Definitely long lasting as i only need 200ml in my final drive (BMW 1200 ADV - 2011). Only 4 stars because the flipping tube built into the cap doesn't fit the filler hole on the FD of this bike - so you either have to get a dedicated syringe (basting/roasting syringes are good, but another thing to buy and mess around with) OR do as i did and pinch the cap of a different brand of gear oil with a tube that does fit. I didn't spill a drop. I marked out the bottle carefully before doing this. I also change the FD oil once a year, so in theory 1ltr will do 5 years - in theory! So £3.60 per oil change. Has to be worth it. This is a high spec oil so one worry off the list.

One of the best oils you can get for diffs and gearboxes, provided it meets your spec. It does with mine and I had no doubts about using this stuff. With the cost of a new diff or reconditioning your gearbox, is it really worth skimping on a few pounds when it comes to the lubrication? It's a no brainer.

Its a recommended oil by manufacturer which can't be usually replaced with something else unless expert in the area. Happy with it as the car did not complaint more than a month now.

It's Castrol, it's oil, it's just what they do

2008 BMW R1200RT 1 bottle does 2 items... Gearbox, which takes approx 750ml (fill until it reaches the filler hole). Leaves approx 250ml in the bottle. Final Drive requires 180ml (original spec states 210ml but this was later revised) measure into a syringe and rubber tube it into the FD filler hole. May as well grease the splines on the shaft at the same time with Castrol Molub-alloy paste white T

Die Lieferung erfolgte super schnell, war ordentlich verpackt und es kamen genau die bestellten Castrol Ölflaschen an. Der Lieferant B +F Schmierstoff GmbH ist unbedingt zu empfehlen. Beim nächsten Mal werde ich wieder dort bestellen. Dieses synthetische Castrol Getriebeöle 75W-90 nach API GL-5-Spezifikation setze ich schon seit über 20 Jahren im Differentialgetriebe meines BMW ein. Das Getriebe hat eine Laufleistung von fast 300.000 km und ich habe bisher weder irgendeinen erkennbaren Verschleiß noch irgendwelche Geräusche festgestellt., was sicherlich auch für die hohe Qualität des Getriebeöls spricht.

Conforme à la description

The Colorado and Canyon use an Eaton G80 limited slip rear end which specifies "normal" GL-5 spec fluid that does not have limited slip additives. Many if not most of the fluids available are "limited slip". Using them won't damage a G80 rear end, but they will disable it's ability to lock, keeping the G80 in open differential mode. I mistakenly used Mobil 1 "LS" fluid and this happened. Drained the Mobil 1 and put this Castrol in, all good again.

Olio longlife per differenziale di tipo aperto, sostituisce il precedente API GL-5 Castrol SAF-X0 ormai fuori produzione. Perfettamente rispettoso delle specifiche richieste dai differenziali aperti BMW. Confermato il quantitativo di 1 litro necessario per l'operazione di spurgo e sostituzione al differenziale di una BMW E46 320d del 2004, come riportato dal costruttore e confermato dal sito Castrol tedesco. Anche ad esame olfattivo, l'olio Castrol è esattamente identico a quello presente di fabbrica nel differenziale della vettura in esame. Prezzo importante (19,50 euro/litro) va inteso però che trattasi di olio longlife e che verrà sostituito, al più, una volta nella vita di progetto della E46 (stimata in 250.000Km). Consigliato!
