Buy Five Go On A Strategy Away Day: Enid Blyton for Grown Ups by Vincent, Bruno from desertcart's Fiction Books Store. Everyday low prices on a huge range of new releases and classic fiction. Review: Funny take on team away days - We love these adult versions of the Famous Five books. This one involves them taking on a strategy away day. We've all been there and know how silly some of these events can be. This is another funny title to add to my wife's collection. We love the style of these. They're written like Enid Blyton books, yet are up to date and focus on one funny subject. Review: Awesome gift - Awesome purchase exactly as described! Thank you

Too funny👍
Just too funny. If you have ever attended meetings and found them a drag, this is the book that will help you tolerate them a bit better.

Woof woof woof said Timmy
I'm not sure the book is actually necessarily written to be read from cover to cover. I have bought it because it's going to make a colleague giggle a lot after picking it in the Secret Santa. There are plenty of buzz words and situations that teams will recognise, and the Five are in their characters from the famous books - George is always kissing Timmy the dog, Anne is keen and earnest, and Julian is the pompous boss threatening to fire people and muttering about his 489 undread emails. I think there is something to make you chuckle on every page. The illustrations are, I assume, the originals. Just keep it away from small chldren...

Very funny, great stocking filler
Bought for Secret Santa last year. Very funny and great to give to a manager (with a sense of humour!)

It doesn't deserve such a "lashing"
I've just digested this, along with the Brexit Island title, and a couple of the ladybird books. Christmas has come early! I enjoyed Brexit Island (despite finding some of the political allegory confusing), but was more at home with this one. Whilst the ladybird books might have been produced during a 10 minute brain storming session at a strategy away day, this was a serious tome. Numbering over 100 pages of carefully crafted parody, it wasn’t laugh out loud, but it’s certainly worth a read. Might even appeal to a Secret Seven fan (if there is such an entity?) (I’ll accept that the black and line drawings seem to be randomly dispersed, and the captions don’t seem to match. I might have to dig out an old Famous Five book to see whether that’s authentic, or just careless.)
