Had plantar fascitus for roughly a year. Cushioned shoes were making it worse. Bought this and started working out in them (especially leg day). Slowly worked into wearing them daily over a three month period. Plantar is almost completely gone. I know its 50/50 whether or not plantar people need more or less cushion, but this worked well for me.

I have been using these for CrossFit and at another gym to do heavy barbell movements and accessories for about 2min this now. Gym and my walking around shoes, average 4 CrossFit workouts and 2 barbell workouts per week. As well as walking around in them all the time on weekends. Holding up great so far. The toe box is wide, I wear a 9.5wide boot and the toe box in this is probably too big for what I need.

I’ve been wearing Vivobarefoot since 2016. I still have the second pair of shoes I ever bought. They make high-quality, functional, stylish shoes. These are a pretty big disappointment. The shell of the shoe was stiff and unforgiving. It eventually loosened up a little bit, but not before I got a lot of blisters (never a problem with other vivos). The area right next to the ball of the foot split on both shoes right away. It is clearly a weak point in the design (pictured). The biggest surprise had to be the soles. I’m at barely 5 months and the heels are worn through. I am a front to mid striker and somehow, the heels have holes? That’s new. In fairness, I have put about 400 miles on them… But that’s what I get out of the $10 water shoes that I buy off Amazon. At $100, I expected these to last a lot longer. I won’t be trying these again.

Fit true to size and are exactly what you are looking for in a barefoot zero drop shoe.
