Great Attachment, works very well!
I needed a guide to cut a dado in the bottom of a door, for the dresser I'm building. I watched a video on YouTube and found the exact one the video used on Amazon and got it next day! Dado cut and fit the barn door to the project, slides on the guides perfectly!

Works as expected
The only issue I had was one of the guide pins wouldn't thread into my router so I had to chase the threads rather than chance damaging the router base. It required more effort than I expected which indicates poor quality control in my opinion. That being said, it does the job it was designed for very well.

Great, if you get one that is right
Unfortunately, after reaching out to Ryobi - Ryobi discontinued manufacturing and selling this part/ accessory a few years ago. That said, this is the best alternative. The first one I got matched what many of the reviews on here claim. The holes were not bored correctly and it did not fit. However, the second one I got, it works perfectly!

Works well. Great price.
I used this product along with a straight bit to cut a 1/4"x1/2" notch along the edge of some 2x4". It worked wonderfully. I was initially going to make a jig to do this myself but the price of this product is so inexpensive that it wasn't worth the effort. I had no issues with adjusting it to the width I wanted and it didn't come loose at all while I was using it. The cut measured exactly right along the entire length of the 4 boards. Simply mark where you want to cut, do a small free hand cut to get the bit where you want it and then place the guide along the opposite face and tighten it down. Then make your cut.

Fits my Ryobi trim router and works great
This fit my Ryobi trim router, model PCL424B, without an issue. Works great and allows you to make a nice, straight cut.

The unit is fine. Well built. Unfortunately it did not fit my Ryobi router. It appears that nothing will fit my Ryobi router. Will have to build an edge guide from metal parts myself!
