Perfect!
This is translucent powder. I've compared it to the higher priced ones and it is just the same. I will be purchasing again.

My favorite!!!!
It seems expensive for powder to me, but it is so light and does such nice job. I tried a different brand and when a little of THAT one got in my mouth and nose, it had a terrible scent and taste. This powder seems to go on better, and doesn't float all over during application. I'll buy it as long as they keep making it!

This Stuff Absorbs Oil
'Infallible' does not cover, but it imparts a smoothing surface to your skin, as it practically floats over lines and flaws. This is light weight and absorbent, pairing well with just about any foundation. After my 'Elf' primer, I love to use a color-changing foundation found here on Amazon, 'TLM', with my Infallible powder. It is also lightweight, but it covers and gives the prettiest surface to my skin; it does not feel like foundation. I have found that using a combination of these products causes me to worry that one of them will be discontinued.

Can’t live without this product!
This is the perfect finishing powder. It makes you look like you have a filter on. I especially love how it brightens under my eyes but I use it to finish my whole face. I Love that is light and doesn’t settle in creases in fact it blurs wrinkles and pores.

Favorite powder.
This was my favorite powder. Now they have done away with it and the new one called blur is not as good and I did not like it. They should bring this one back.

Talc = asbestos
It works great and is long lasting however I did not realize the first ingredient was talc and you cannot separate asbestos from talc. Be careful breathing it in

Stays Put & Great For Oily Skin
Great loose transulent setting powder for oily skin that keeps your makeup in place and gives a clean matte natural finish that lasts hours. However, the lid can get stuck on sometimes and is really hard to remove.

Great coverage without drying
This product goes on as a white powder, but dries clear once body heat allows it to set. It gave my skin a very nice, smooth finish without any shine, but still allowed highlights to show through and didn't ruin the dewiness/shimmer of my foundation. I was very impressed at the quality of this product for the price.

Is this stuff magic???
I absolutely LOVE this finishing powder. A very little bit goes a long way! I have been using this for a month over my t-zone and under eyes to get rid of that overly shiny look, and it is absolutely amazing. This powder does not cause ANY build up under my eyes or on my forehead creases, and stays put. Seriously though- a little bit goes a long way. I did notice if I would use too much it would crease and settle in. Use sparingly!

A Disappointment At Any Price
I was strolling, i mean scrolling, through the finishing powder aisle because I have exhausted my supply of l'Oréal's not so aptly named Infallible stuff. I'm not planning to reacquaint myself with the infallible powder and i paid less than half the current asking price. I checked my order, hoping that the $40 cost reflected new packaging but that's not the case. I'm sure it's a computer error; if anyone had spent $40, this section would be flooded with murderous reviews. First off, it's an 8g container. Traditional loose powder is usually packaged in 100g and 200g containers. There's a new 50g format which I like because it travels well and the powder doesn't get cakey, but anything smaller is a nuisance. Grams are a measure of weight, but the nuisance factor in smaller weights is not the amount of powder but the diameter of the container. I get the best results with a full sized fat, fluffy loose powder brush. It's messy around blowing fans and dark fabrics, but it's fairy dust. It's absolute magic. It's impossible for any brush to effectively coat itself in any powder (eyeshadow, bronzer, blush, glitter foundation) and deliver an even result if the brush is larger than the source. The sizes of brushes and containers reflect the areas they cover, blush brushes are smallish and contoured like cheekbones, lip brushes are flat or pointed...can you imagine the tedium of blending in foundation with an eyebrow brush? Or what a nuisance it would be to apply eyeshadow with a foundation brush? This 8g format is ideally suited for a small blending or stippling brush to set and bake but this powder is not weighted for spot work, it's weighted for fat fluffy finishing brushes and is a very nice finishing powder, but is not packaged to deliver its powder to a finishing brush. Even if the size was right, the powder doesn't transfer well to the reservoir because of its weight. I believe in finishing powder. I don't believe there will ever be a more perfect application method than the fluffy duster. It's not on trend and neither am I, but I know there's not a makeup artist on the planet whose brushes are too large for their intended pots and that the largest of those brushes is reserved for the single purpose of dusting finishing powder on their creations. Finishing powders can be confusing. Is a finishing powder the same as a setting powder? In theory, yes, but only because the terms themselves are meaningless. It's all about weight. The lighter the powder, the better the finish. For setting and baking, we need weight. To find the best loose powder for setting/baking your concealer, find the heaviest one by shaking out any residual powder from the well. When it's dust free, put the cap back on and flip the whole thing over once. Wait ten seconds then pick it up and remove the cap. If the well didn't collect any powder during that first flip, it's probably not the best weight for setting. If there's a whole lot of powder in the well, avoid using it for finishing, especially if you have oily or combination skin. If the only loose powder you have is too weightless for setting, apply a dusting of pressed powder with a fan brush or any brush with loose, low density bristles. If you're agile with a sponge you can daub loose powder onto a sponge with pressed powder on it. Don't use the sponge in the powder compact for setting. Its absorption isn't ideal for the purpose and it's always best to use clean materials near the eye. No matter our skin color, our best choice in powder is Translucent and it should appear absolutely white, no beige or pinkish hues. Speaking of white, if that's your skin colour, banana powder might not be your friend. Back to the Infallible stuff - this powder is packaged as a setting powder but does not set well. It's a good finishing powder but is not packaged to work with a finishing brush so does finish well. Maybe infallibility is a conundrum....
