Visionis FPC-6206 Four Door Access Control + 600lbs Lock + VIS-7013 + VIS-3100

I've had one of these systems operating for close to two years now without incident. Was originally planning to cheap out with a system that was a fair bit less from one of the slowboat sites, and just muddle through the likely poorer documentation and software but went with this for convenience of shipping time. I've been very pleased with the straightforward and thorough setup videos Visionis puts online, the fact the software isn't a barely translated mess to work with, and that there's no trivial way to bypass the system like some that can be defeated with a magnet to the side of the readers. Make sure to use something thicker than cat5 for your cabling (16ga probably for long runs). I haven't had much need for the full depth of video and alarm stuff the software does, with a few hundred people in the system and a couple years it's operated without a hitch. Toss a UPS on it so you don't loose locks when the power blinks. A small desktop computer style UPS holds ours up with two doors set up for about 4 hours.

I have the 4 door controller. I called tech support at both Visionis and FPC and had to leave messages, no one called back. Emailed (online form) no response. Took 3 days for me to figure it out on my own. Product is pretty good, but having to use wire nuts/caps to combine so many wires when a simple bus bar should have been in the design. Also, any "jumper wires" needed should just be included and installed by the manufacturer. Just looks too messy inside cuz of all the wire caps. The Manual is not well laid out and written for experts. But the install videos are excellent. I really like the product and recommend to others

We've been utilizing this system for around 5 months now. The software is easy to setup and the boxes have been problem free. I highly recommend this to any small office environment that doesn't want to be locked into a proprietary system. Should you have any issues with programming or installation the customer support has been fantastic for me and has always been able to answer my questions immediately.

I am using this system for my school and It is easy to use and setup and when we need support they were right there to help us to upgrade the software and restore the user files. I recommend this!

We've had this installed for over two years, still working great. I had a problem today adding a new user, Luis in customer service was very helpful, had me back on track fast!
