The information is great but would be a much better book if I could read the the text in the images showing the steps. So I am still somewhat lost and not much better than I was before purchasing it.

I was very disappointed with this book. It is excruciatingly repetitive and he misses discussion of vital information such as stochastic screens. Most of the info here is already available on the web. Don't waste your money!

This book was very poorly written. I have been a printer and work shop instructor for many years and I am always looking for new information to share with my student's. I would not recommend this book to anyone.

I bought this book but was disappointed. Too many mistakes and reference errors in the pictures. I have the feeling that it has been written very fast and that the author did not take time to read it carefully after that. However, it is very rich.

I was thrilled at what I was able to do after going through this book. The pictures are extremely helpful and the text is clear and concise. The step by step instructions allowed me to create great photogravures on my first try! There are other books out in the world, but this was was exceptionally good. Easy to follow and definitely a great price. It's obvious the author is more concerned with creating a good book and helping people learn to create with another medium rather than just selling some confusing instruction manual. Overall, GREAT book and I'm looking forward to any others by the same author.

The book is good, but i have some questions regarding the test and i can find the email of the author anywhere, pls help

It's true that the photos are not all printed as clearly as they might be but the processes are dealt with thoroughly and methodically. Polymer Photogravure is a complex process. Do not get into it if you are not prepared to spend time testing the materials. Photographic printing is very different from many other printing processes and requires a lot of precision otherwise you spend a lot of time and waste a lot of expensive materials trying to get it right. This is tedious but necessary. This book takes you through the many stages required to balance your particular image to the type of polymer materials you are using. I had to learn this the hard way but this book mirrors many of the workflow procedures that I use but also gave me a few clues to help me improve techniques.

Not what I expected .Incredibly boring and bad value for money.
