Excellent sensor, it is so efficient I actually ordered another one for a different room. Constant data feed for regular information. For the cost it’s insanely good. Already had the hub, so was able to set up the sensor in less than 2 minutes; very easy. Connects easily to the hub.

i have purchased a number of these devices for various rooms around the house, they help me better understand the temperature and humidity of each room over the year so I can better setup ventilation and heating requirements. The App is super simple to use and can store data for a whole year. They seem to be well made and connectivity to the required hub (purchased separately) is solid anywhere from my garage up to my attic. The signal happily gets through a number of walls and floors. Battery life is great even when set to the high sensitivity mode. Over a year on a single CR2032.

Bought this sensor on spec as I already had a Tapo hub connecting my light switches. It took a long time to arrive but I'm happy so far. Two shaped magnets are provided which can be stuck onto the back of the unit for mounting on ferromagnetic surfaces or you can attach the sticky pads instead for other types of surface or hang it up from its lanyard. The device is extremely light allowing very flexible placement. The blurb on Amazon claims it updates every 2 seconds. However the graphs and downloaded CSV files I'm getting from the Tapo app suggest that it is logging at no faster than once every fifteen minutes. I've not yet determined the frequency at which it is transmitting but given the small battery then even using the low-power radio link to the hub would flatten it if it were transmitting too often. The device is not suitable for outdoor or in-freezer mounting unless it is protected by a waterproof enclosure but this of course will impair the humidity function.. (I use the smallest in the Ikea Istad double-seal food bags for such purposes.) As of 2023-08-02, I'm pleased to report that the integration with Google Home exposes both the temperature and humidity function. The Alexa integration only shows the temperature.

Great product. Shows temperature & humidity at 15 min intervals throughout the day. I use in my loft roof space to keep a close eye in close to freezing weather. Note: as it clearly states this product will only work with the Tapo H200 hub, it will not work directly to the smartphone application without the hub.

As always, Tapo never fails to disappoint. Easy to set up and install. I have several of these for automations and they do what they are required to do.

Excellent. I've put this one in my log cabin. Grouped with other Tapo products, if the temp goes below a certain specified setting, the heater turns on. If the humidity goes below a certain specified setting, my de humidifier kicks in. It shows up to date readings that are logged. I feel it's an important addition to my smart house. I have several of these and think they're ace. Buy it and thank me later.

Good reader for temp and humidity. I was tempted of buying an expensive dehumidifier, but thanks to this I understood that the humidity wasn't the problem of the room. Consider to buy it you wanna know more about the temp and humidity in your room.
