Why is the liver so much more expensive than the chicken and duck varieties??

The liver is a more expensive meat and is freeze dried instead of air dried, which intensifies the flavour more, but is a much more expensive process.

Are these chews the same size wise as the ones in 500 g tubes

Yes they are the same just more of them in the larger pack

I have just read that the maxi tube liver are about 2"square and are tough to cut. also how long do they last after opening.

The ones that I’ve had were only around 1/4-1/2” cubes!! They are dried so last for ages they are inside a polythene bay inside so just fold that over and put on the lid they will be fine hope this helps

Are the treats quiet small? I would love to buy them for my ferrets but just worried they will be too big.

I got these for my dog as the Vet uses them as a reward and my dog pulls to go into the Vets now! They are small and crumble easily so perfect for your ferret. You only need a very small amount though.
