Can yoh use stepped adapters with this product as i have just brought a dust extractor.

I don't see any reason why not. As long as you get a decent seal around the hose opening, the device should still stick to the wall and most, if not all, debris should be sucked away. I've just checked mine, and the hose inlet has a soft, flexible gasket, so it will be reasonably forgiving with what size hose you shove into it. Worst case scenario, if your hose is a bit loose, a bit of tape wrapped around the circumference should hold it in place whist you drill your holes. I hope this helps :)

Will this work with shark vacuums?

In my experience it will work with any vacuum. If the seal is not very good with shark then wrap plenty of gaffer’s tape around that area. Doesn’t take long and is easily removed after the drilling job. Sounds a bit of a faff but worth the trouble. I have drilled holes in plaster/brick with carpet below safely. You may get slight staining around the hole but usually that doesn’t matter. Good luck!

Yes this will work with any brand of drill. It’s the drill bit size that matters. About 10mm max.
