This cleaning solution fluid really is a superb product. I have a collection of vinyl records from 1968 to the mid 80s which with the advent of cds and more recent digital platforms I had neglected to play and stored away in several boxes. A few weeks ago I got a bit nostalgic about the whole vinyl thing (I'm a man of a certain age) holding a record-sleeve in your hand and having that old feeling of anticipation as the stylus hit the first groove. So I got a turntable and hooked it up one rainy Saturday afternoon. However, I was disappointed to learn that my old records were emitting "crackle" and were jumping here and there. I went online for help and advice and after a bit of research bought the fluid. After cleaning 42 records with the solution, all but one are playing perfectly and are delivering that "warm" sound vinyl-lovers go mad for. In terms of audio value for money, I recommend this product wholeheartedly. I now have over 200 albums I can play and enjoy when before I bought this product, they were just languishing unplayed in a box. I even keep my cleaning fluid in a swish little Victorian plant spray bottle so it adds a bit of class to the music corner in my study. First vinyl I played after cleaning? "Foxtrot" by Genesis. "Supper's Ready" just like it was in my teenage bedroom in the 70s: no hissing, no jumping just the Guards of Magog swarming around as they should be!

Bought what is in essence a refill pack because this cleaning fluid is effective at removing dust etc from vinyl.

Very good item. Cleans the records well. Use it in my Knosti Disco Antistat machine. I add distilled water.

For cheapskates like me who love their vinyl but don't want the expense of a record cleaning machine this is the best solution (pun intended). Why? Because it a solution intended for a RCM but can applied manually. Just make sure your bottle has an atomizer. I have tried several solutions but this one is by far the best at removing clicks and surface noise on old and new records. Some reviewers have stated it can leave a residue on your stylus and that is fair comment. To avoid that I apply a rinse as a final step using de ionised water.

I actually used it in my record spin cleaner, used one 250ml bottle then topped up the level with de-ironised water. My curved velvet cleaner just glide's over the vinyl records that I've cleaned with this solution and sounds critical clear too and static has gone also.

Just purchased a second batch of this record cleaning fluid and I doubt I’ll use any other. Excellent for medium soiled vinyl - dust, gunge etc. I spray on generously and leave the record for a couple of minutes then clean off with the cloth I got with my first batch, then repeat. The drying rack is useful as well if you get the starter pack. I’d give a really dirty record to my mate who has an Okki Nokki to clean, but for everything else this stuff is the best.

J'utilise ce produit pour de vieux vinyl que je dégotte sur le net et souvent, je suis étonné du nettoyage réalisé et la différence avant le nettoyage et après nettoyage.

Con esto i 2 toallitas, una para poner el vinilo encima i la otra para limpiar con giros sobre el vinilo, más que suficiente.

Nachdem Knosti seine Reinigungslösung auf „alkoholfrei“ umgestellt hat, bin ich mit dem Reinigungsergebnis nicht mehr zufrieden. Da bleiben sichtbare Rückstände, besonders rund um die Auslaufrille. Liegt vermutlich daran, dass das Zeug nicht mehr so gut verdunstet. Hatte kurz überlegt, selber zu mixen, dann aber diese fertige Lösung ausprobiert. Und ich bin begeistert. Gestank nach Alkohol/Ethanol, ja… Aber dafür auch rückstandsfrei sauber und eine sehr gute Reinigungsleistung wie ich finde. Finde ich sogar besser als die alte Knosti Lösung. War skeptisch, ob das Zeug in der Knosti Wanne überhaupt funktioniert, aber doch, klappt hervorragend.
