Jack Wolfskin Womens Thunder Bay Texapore Mid WHiking Shoe

I wear a size 10 in women shoes and boots normally. These run a tad bit large. However, I must say, that these Boots are AWESOME. I work 11-13 hour days, every week. Always on my feet . Climbing, being pulled by big dogs, and always walking on very wet, slippery surfaces. I have had them for over 3 months now, and wear them everyday. So comfortable. Very supportive, I LOVE MY BOOTS! I will purchase another pair when these finally give out. But I can tell, these Jack Wolfskin’s are gonna last quite awhile. Very happy customer!!

Well made, sturdy and light weight boots. I recommend any one this nice boots. Muy buenas botas, bien hechas y no pesan.

These are nice and of quality. The fit was good in the length but not in the width. I ordered a size 8W but I received an 8M twice. The option for wide is incorrect.

I loved these hikers. they fit perfect.

My first impression after wearing these for an hour was "Wow!". After wearing them all day and working in them, my impression was "New favorite boots". The fit is perfect, even better than my Ariats and Keene boots. The top around the ankle provides real support, but is still soft and flexible and very comfortable. I wore these walking dogs in a local park and through a stream the first day. My feet were dry and the boots themselves dried out quickly. Trudging up and down a muddy creekbank was no problem and the soles provided a lot of solid traction. Today, I wore them to do barn chores and some horse training on the ground. The boots are very lightweight and don't feel like heavy duty boots after a few hours in them. The arch support is sufficient for my needs even while shoveling stalls and pivoting in the center of circle while doing lunge line training. I flat out love these boots and they look good - I'm already hunting a pair of the Jack Wolfskin low cut hiking shoes.

These hiking boots are great so far! They are right up there with previous brands I've owned over the years, such as Columbia. I am a native Coloradan and was practically raised in the mountains--hiking, camping, etc--so I'm no newbie to hiking boots. This pair from Jack Wolfskin--while I haven't heard of this brand before--is great. They are comfortable and true to size. They are very supportive through my arch and my ankle. The quality is very good and so far they've held up quite well. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this brand again. If anything changes, I'll update this review. But so far I'm very pleased with these boots.

5 stars because we only have positive comments for this great hiking boot. (1) The fit is as expected; no need to order a size up or down from your normal shoe size. (2) It's comfortable and no chafing was experienced after several long hikes. So comfortable, never felt the need to take it off after arriving back home. And I can't say that about most other hiking boots. (3) This boot provides excellent grip on rock and also navigates deep sand well. (4) Very good ankle support while negotiating rocky, dried up, stream beds. We've only been hiking the high desert, so we can't speak to its waterproofing. Very pleased with this hiking boot. Very easy to highly recommend.

Der Schuh war für den Winterurlaub gedacht und ich bin absolut begeistert! Ich hatte nicht einmal Kälte oder nasse Füße! Dieser Schuh ist wirklich angenehm zu tragen und sehr bequem. Klar durch die höhere Schafthöhe erstmal ungewohnt aber ich hab nicht einmal Schmerzen gehabt oder musste den Schuh eintragen.

Muy comodos e impermeables. Hice trekking en la selva, bosque y montaña, camine más de 20 km sin ningún problema, incluso en terreno lodoso. Pidan medio número superior al que usan para evitar que queden muy justos por los calcetines

Están excelentes. De muy buena calidad, resistentes, muy buenas para el clima frío.

Der Schuh kam bei meiner Frau sehr gut an! Ansprechendes Design, angenehmer, warmer Farbton, griffige Sohle, guter Sitz und vor allem sehr bequem - alles in allem ein "Superschuh" (Originalton meiner Frau). Wie wir vor dem Kauf schon hie und da lesen konnten, der Schuh würde etwas kleiner ausfallen, hat sich voll bestätigt. Meine Frau trägt immer schon Größe 39 und konnte sich darauf bis jetzt "blind" verlassen. Wie gesagt bis jetzt, denn dieser Schuh fällt kleiner aus! Wir bestellten ihn daher eine Größe größer, also in 40 und siehe da: er paßte auf Anhieb. Leute, bestellt bitte immer eine Größe g r ö ß e r als gewohnt. Ich werde mich nochmals melden, sollte meiner Frau irgend etwas Negatives auffallen mit der Zeit.......wir haben das gute Stück ja erst eine Woche! Nachtrag vom 05.10.2021: die Bezeichnung "wasserabweisend" ist mit Vorsicht zu geniessen, denn nassem Gras oder stärkerem Regen hält der Schuh nur maximal 10 Minuten stand, dann merken Sie bereits die Nässe am Fuß.

Da anni uso questo modello per fare trekking. Lo trovo molto buono, resistenti, tengono i piedi asciutti e ad una temperatura buona sia in estate che in inverno.
