product DOES work, however, sure ain't cheap. does NOT harm colors and DOES brighten whites but still have to use a stain remover to eradicate black stains (from cleaning indoor seating at restaurant, also ketchup) on white work pants. dont notice a scent at all.... assume this makes brightener MUCH healthier than smelly bleach

I’ve used these Tide rescue pods in addition to my regular laundry pods for years. They help remove stains (I pretreat with a spray) and brighten up dingy whites. They’re color safe, but I only use them on whites or light colors. I like them for our sons’ sports uniforms, our bedsheets, my husband’s dress shirts and all of our underwear and undershirts. They don’t seem to have a fragrance, and I’ve never had one fail to dissolve. They also don’t irritate my daughter, who is sensitive to some detergents and all fabric softeners. These are a staple in my laundry arsenal!

The Tide Brights and Whites Rescue pods do a pretty good job keeping whites white. However, I do not like how they smell. They have a fruity smell that reminds me of Concord grapes and I am not a fan of these grapes or the scent. The scent does get much lighter after a cycle on the dryer.I do like that they come in pre-measured packs which do not need to opened, the entire neat little bundle goes into the washer. This is really handy when my husband gets the laundry duty. For some reason when he does the laundry there is always liquid detergent leaking from the bottle and some powder spilled on the floor. We use cold water (top loader) to wash and they dissolve fully.Note these pods need to be use in conjunctions with a detergent.I thought they worked on par with Oxiclean. Fresh stains were removed, some old "baked-in" stains were not. So no miracles, but they do a nice job.Ali Julia review

Works great and does what they claim they do.

I tried this several months ago and now I don't do a load of laundry without it (and I use Tide pods as well.In my opinion, Tide is probably the best product out there for all types of laundry uses, Oh! I've also been using Tide Rescue, which is a spray to put on stains before laundering. It works every time. NO STAINS.

I have used this item for years, but it is getting hard to find it at grocery stores (Kroger/Walmart), so thankfully Amazon carries this wonderful product. We place one Tide Bright + Whites Rescue pac in the washing machine, along with our regular detergent. It removes the grey, dingy color from white T shirts, white sports socks, basically any washcloth or towel that is white. This product is amazing. Everything is gleaming white again. I highly recommend this product, and am surprised more people are unaware of this product!
