These tablets are of good quality. It works for me and is very effective compared to other brands of Ashwagandha that I've had before.

Ashwagandha has been used for thousands of years, commonly used for stress, helps to calm the mind and may help reduce swelling, lower blood pressure and alter the immune system. Helping the body in many ways, It's original use as a Rasayana a ritual, which are techniques for lengthening lifespans, thousands of years ago in 6,000bc, to help with longevity of the life. I think this does work because I take it at bed time, more calm at night, can help sleep adequate amount of time, and when you sleep your body can fully recover and heal all sorts of problems, with enough sleep that is. Dosage: 1 or 2 per day with some water. With or without food, shouldn't matter I guess with food, or just after food is higher absorbption in the body. I took two last night with water no food before bed, it did chill me out a bit, but because I had some 100% dark chocolate at the time which contains some caffeine, I only slept 5 hours. Usually when I take Ashwagandha I get 7 to 8 hours of sleep. In the morning I felt not rested, but relaxed, too relaxed I couldn't get out of bed. I have no doubt if I cut out caffeine in my diet, and take this, I will sleep long but feel groggy in the morning because this chills me out too much, might have to limit dose to 1 per day. I know this because I have experience with using Ashwagandha without caffeine in the past, though it does work i would consult the DR, incase you have any supplement issues like kidney problems, because no supplement should be taken if you have kidney issues. I took a star off because the capsules are red, and prefer not to take anything I cannot see. One thing to note it says Withania Somnifera a naturally occuring chemical against alzheimer's Disease. Is an important medicinal plant of the indian subcontinent, commonly known as Indian ginseng or winter cherry, also known as ashwagandha in this product. Guess it can't hurt if it goes against Alzheimer's disease, and overall body health. I keep an open mind and would try anything that's good for the body. All I felt from this is tad relaxation (probably due to the caffeine I took with it). I think it's good, Just not sure about the red capsules, as I have taken Ashwagandha with clear capsules before, and it looks like a green grey powder. This red capsule I opened up and also has green/grey powder, question is are all of them the same quality? If so why hide it in a red capsule? and what makes it red? There is nothing in the ingredients that show this information. Thus why I took a star off, but really I should have taken 2 stars off, as I would prefer to order the clear translucent capsules, so I know what I'm getting in each individual capsule.

I didnt see any difference in myself after taking these for a few weeks

I have been in the health food business for quite some time and Ashwagandha is a staple product for us. This combination of the active ingredient plus black pepper means that the Ashwagandha is well absorbed. I took this product to help me get over a cold and from the moment of taking it I felt a little better. It is a well-known herb that can help the immune system whilst increasing testosterone production. This can help to fight the common cold or most other inflammation-induced problems. It can also aid sleep as it is an adaptogen which is believed to help the body resist physical and mental stress. Personally, I would use Rhodiola over Ashwagandha for stress as I feel it is far better for that purpose. Overall, this is a great product. The dose is 2 tablets daily and that dose works very well. It takes time for a lot of people to take full effect, but I have been using Ashwagandha for quite some time, so I could tell almost instantly that this is an active product and one I am happy to recommend.

I received the Ambrosial Ashwagandha capsules as a gift and I have to say, I'm impressed! The capsules are easy to swallow and the high strength ashwagandha root powder really seems to be making a positive difference in my overall wellbeing. The presentation of the product is great and it definitely matches the description and claims made on the Amazon listing. I would say that this product is well made and definitely does not feel cheap. For the price, it is definitely a great value for money.
