Works for those hard to get to grilles and low flow applications. Very accurate and especially helpful on smaller grilles as well as min split ac units with supply/return that you can not use a balancing hood on

Very High Tech Instrument
Truly amazing technology. If you are an HVAC tech then you need this. just tell it the duct size and it does the rest. OK its not as accurate as a flow hood, but the convenience is way better. It's still probably accurate enough to be 90% within range.

Worth the money
First time I use this field piece tool, I’m not gonna lie at the beginning I was little bit confuse but after I figure out on how to measure cfm I was impressed on how accurate and how simple is it to use!! Worth the money I paid !! I wish I had known before about this tool

easy to use, flow calculation feature is very convenient
The instrument is extremely easy to use, comes in a solid case. Magnet adds to convenience and the flow calculation feature is simple to setup and is a massive advancement over just having velocity measurement. I wish that I'd bought one of these years ago.

Good meter
I am a DIY guy evaluating and fixing duct work in a newer house. Unfortunately, you cannot trust supposed reputable HVAC contractors to do the job right. Hey contractors instead of using combination of rule of thumb and guessing figure load and CFM requirements and duct calculator. The Fieldpiece seems to be a well made meter I am very pleased with it. Shipping was quick and packaged good.
