I ummed and arred about buying these but after much personal debate and trusting the other reviews I took the plunge and parted with my cash. On arrival I placed these under the washing machine feet and the difference in ease of moving is astounding. I can't rate these high enough. The downside is I think they are expensive for what they are but I've not tried the cheaper versions available to see how they compare. A couple of things of note are that even though the washing machine can be moved easily it doesn't move on it's own when spinning for example. This was something I was worried may happen if they worked too well. Also when buying make sure you get sliders smaller than the feet you intend to attach them to.

Absolutely brilliant! You do have to be a little careful when peeling back the paper from the adhesive bit but once on, they do the job. We just a new karndean floor fitted and were really worried about damaging it when installing new very heavy washing machine. The pads make the machine glide smoothly and freely over the floor - one person can easily do this. Very pleased wish I’d known about these years ago!

Amazing. I was very cynical about the claims made for this item but have been amazed at how well they work. We had a washing machine on a soft vinyl floor. Any attempt to slide the machine would cause the vinyl to rip and yet it was impossible to lift it out from under the work surface due to my ageing years, lack of manoeuvring room and the sheer weight of the good quality washing machine. I ordered the Magiglides as a last resort. I was able to lever up the front of the machine enough to get two of the glides underneath and then with some careful work I could move the machine enough to get the other two under the rear. From this point on I could move the machine with light pressure with one hand - and without any further damage to the floor. My wife was worried that the machine moved so easily that it might move itself during the washing cycle but that did not happen. Even at the price, which seems a bit over the top, I was impressed enough to order another pack for another appliance. One word of warning. The packaging says that the magiglides must be the same size or smaller than the feet of the item being moved. They are 40mm which is much larger than the feet on our washing machine but they still work perfectly. They can not be seen as the feet on the washing machine are slightly inboard of the edge.

Had a new wood floor put down in my kitchen which had to go under both the washer/dryer and my spare undercounter fridge. Was terrified it would get all scratched up whenever I had to pull them out and you'd see lots of scratches on it when I pushed them back into place again. The washer/dryer is also nigh on impossible to get back in because of its weight, and how snuggly it fitted into the space. Literally could not even get my fingers in either side of it. I considered several other and more expensive options but found these raised the appliances too high to fit under the worktops. So these were absolutely brilliant. Great price, easy to apply, and both appliances now really easy to get in an out and the new floor hasn't been scratched. Only thing is they CAN come off and leave the sticky bit on the appliance foot rather than the disc. But I did get it to stick back on again. As long as I don't move them in and out often they'll be fine. But I couldn't believe how easy they were to push back in with these firmly on.

Bought these for my washing machine as I had moved it out to get the floor replaced and it refused to go back in the space! I'd read some reviews about these not sticking to the feet very well, but mine stuck straight away and haven't come off. Once they were oin I was able to slide the washing machine all over the place with ease! Whenever I use the washing machine I do find now that it moves slightly, either out a bit or to the side, but because it has the gliders i just push it back to where it should be, no problem.

They worked ok on the bottom of my drum table.

The feet of my previous washing machine were resting on a single upturned piece of carpeting (cut to the size of the machine) - this improved the 'glide' properties whenever I needed to move it, and this bit of carpet effectively stopped the feet from digging into the cushion vinyl flooring of my kitchen. By chance, my wife wondered what alternatives there might be - Magiglide being our eventual selected option. The new washing machine (all 83kg of it) had the Magiglide pads installed - I made sure that the underside of the feet were clean (methylated spirits on a bit of rag, and then dried with kitchen roll) and that I waited the indicated 15 minutes to allow the full adhesion of the pads to become effective. The finished result was all that I could have wished for - I suggested to my wife (in excess of 3 score years and ten) that she might like to try to move it - she did so with great facility. I now know that this very heavy domestic appliance will continue to move with ease - and that the design of the pads ensures that the feet will never dig into the vinyl flooring and damage it (as has been my experience with other white goods in my kitchen).

I bought a set of these gliders in 2011 for my Dining Room furniture having used felt in the past. We have a wooden floor and the felt kept getting stuck on the joins. At the time I was sceptical as to whether they would be any better or scratch the floor. And of course they're not cheap. We use our chairs daily. These gliders have been so easy to use and provided we remove any tiny stones which find their way under the pads our floor does not get scratched. With the felt, I needed to maintain the pads on a monthly bases but with these there is none of that. We have had the odd glider unstick itself, or come apart but repairing it is nothing a little glue can't fix. I am now buying some more for a heavy solid wooden bed. There is no doubting it, it is worth the price.
