Great product seems to help with the pain hopefully it straightened out my toe .. good made product easy to put on its even marked on item left and right side. The heal strap is long for larger feet .. easy to tuck in for shorter feet

It is more comfortable to wear them while sleeping

I have a small bunion that I noticed starting last year or so. Not very painful yet, but definitely starting to cause problems. I decided to try this solely because it is Dr Scholls, because I trust the brand enough to spend $15-20. These are very comfortable, much more so than the photo looks. The instructions are quite easy to understand, and the splint itself is easy to figure out. Very easy to adjust to fit. They seem very sturdy and well made, and I would be very surprised if they fall apart soon. The quality of the materials is very good, and they are very well made. No scratchy stitching or labels, and definitely no jagged velcro. I can feel the ligaments stretching when wearing it, and the information guide does explain that it can be uncomfortable at first because of this gentle stretching. For this reason it advises to start with 30 min at a time and work up to no more than 8 hours. For me, I can tolerate this “stretching feeling” for about an hour here at the beginning. Not sure it can reverse anything already happening, but definitely seems like it can keep things from getting worse at the very least.

I bought these hoping for something more comfortable than the ones I usually buy. I usually sleep with my corrector on. That's when I find i can have less painful days. At first I loved these. When I put them on my foot it was amazing. The cushion was so comfortable, however after a few hours my foot hurt so bad it woke me up. I tried them a few more nights because I thought it might take some getting used to. My bunion wasn't as swollen but I kept getting woken up by the pain and had to adjust them. The issue was the center that is hollowed out was too small for my bunion. I was able to adjust the velcro on the back of the cushion to try to accommodate it but still no dice. I removed the cushion and these work so much better for me. Pro: if your bunion is still small these may be a great option. Pro: the straps are not as ridiculously long as other brands. Pro: they are relatively comfortable if you can get them to fit right. Con: the cushion only works for smaller bunions. Con: they are right and left, though you probably could get them to work for either, but where I only have one injured foot i like to buy one that accommodate either foot better. In the end, I may purchase again but I was disappointed that the cushion will not work for me.

I have painful bunion that respond well to this split. I wear it as often as I can, often overnight. A can wear them with a shoe but it it is not always ideal. A gel toe separator usually fills in while I wear shoes. Going barefooted continues to causes me pain; I invested in an extra for a “shower splint”. It works for me.

I wore x 1 hour x 2 days and foot pain did decrease. With my normal icing, stretching, new shoe inserts after a week and 3 mile hike , my toe pain has decreased.

They are nice but didn't fit good for me I elderly and was hard for me to put on.
