I recently had to change a tire on my 2019 KIA STINGER GT2 AWD, and experienced so much frustration with the janky next-to-worthless jack handle that came with the car that i was determined to find a better means. Thats when i discovered this ratcheting handle that makes the job so much easier and efficient. Like others mentioned, zero instructions came with the ratcheting handle, but i found videos online to provide answers to a few questions that i had. The ratcheting handle has a nice overall substantial heft to it, although the yellow plastic side panels feel a bit cheap. The ratcheting mechanism has a somewhat loose tolerance feel, but overall it works fine for the occasional use. If i could suggest any improvements for this product it would be: 1) Get rid of the cheap plastic side panels and replace with a better fitting grippy rubber surface. 2) Provide a carrying case that you can store not only the ratchet handle itself, but also the loose nut/bolt/washer and adapter plate hardware that comes with the handle. I resorted to placing the loose adapter hardware in a plastic bag and used 2 rubber bands to secure it to the ratchet handle so it wouldn't get lost when i needed it. 3) For extra-credit, maybe even consider adding a small LED light into the handle to help illuminate tire changing at night. With that said, this ratcheting handle is so much better performance-wise than the OEM jack handle that i highly recommend it!

Installed Jack Ratchet Wrench on my Scissor Jack so I could remove the tire on mt Husqvarna lawn tractor.. Made it so much easier to raise and lower the jack versus the hand crank that supplied with the jack that at times when you go to use it, it’s in an awkward position and very low to the ground. Wish I had one of these years ago. One hint when you put the adapter onto the jack make sure you screw out down nice and tight. Very easy to install!!

I find the traditional two-piece tool used to turn the jack screw to be hard to use. This tool allows you to make a simple circular or a reciprocal back-and-forth motion to turn that screw. It's a ratchet. You need to have enough clearance to avoid hitting the side of your car. There is an adapter you can bolt to your scissors jack if the wrench won't fit. Durability? Hard to know. You won't use it a lot and it seems sturdy enough. The problem I see is that you can strip the ratchet but I don't think the force involved in turning the jack screw would be a problem.

This item, i would rate a 3 because of its somewhat poorly construction, however it is functional, and do make the job a bit easier
