Great little tool
My dishwasher started leaking, then left a lot of water sitting in the bottom that had to be manually removed. I first tried using a baster to siphon out the water and quickly realized that was going to take forever. A wet-dry vac was another possible solution, but I really didn’t want to invest in one. Gratefully, I found this little Wekster Multi-purpose Siphon on Amazon and ordered it. It arrived in a couple of days and worked like a charm! I got the standing water pumped out of the bottom of the dishwasher in only a few minutes. Apparently, it can also be used for siphoning gas or oil out of a car, but that’s something I will likely never attempt. I’m really happy with this purchase. Even if I only use it once, the price was reasonable, and it did what I was hoping it would do.

Good little siphon pump
I bought and used this small pump to empty a 5ga gasoline tank into my car. It pumped well only after I placed the intake on the same level as the fuel tank I was emptying. Took more than 5 minutes to empty 5 ga of fuel, so I would question their claim of 3 ga /minute. The black hose is for air; didn't use it. Overall I was pleased with my purchase, got the job done. Not expensive.

Fits inside Coleman lanterns and stoves
UPDATE: I had to take all the stars away. I followed the instructions regarding lubrication (see my Tip below), but it only worked for a very short time. So, I have another MAJOR complaint with this item. The pump is very, very sticky. I mean that I have to actually use 2 hands and out some muscle into actuating the pump. When you do that, you jerk the thing around and that can dislodge your hoses from the tanks they’re in resulting in fuel spills. I’ve lubricated the pump with light oil, but it doesn’t seem to help for more than a moment. I’d love to be able to siphon the fuel without splashing flammable liquid all over the place. So as a siphon, I think this one is dangerous. Typical Chinese quality. I should have listened to the negative reviews. Exactly what I was looking for! Anyone who uses the highly underrated Coleman liquid fuel stoves and lanterns knows that the way the fuel tanks are designed makes it impossible to dump all the fuel out of the tank. It’s best not to store liquid fuel in the tank for years on end because it can form a residue that gums up the fuel flow. Not to mention that; although, the fuel tank is pretty well sealed by various gaskets and valves, it’s best practice to drain all the fuel out of an appliance before servicing it. The fuel tank orifice in a Coleman fuel tank (except, perhaps the very old, obsolete ones) is 1/2 inch. The outside diameter of the orange hoses fits inside the Coleman fuel tank so you can actually get all the fuel out. Use caution with this tool. I did not follow the directions exactly (or follow common sense) and ended up splashing fuel on my hands and the garage floor. This pump provides good suction so it’s easy to get carried away. Had I put the output hose down into the storage tank like I was supposed to, it wouldn’t have been an issue. Instead, I held the end of the hose in a small filter funnel. After only 2 pumps, fuel was gushing out fast and spilled on my hands. So just know that this starts strong suction within just a couple of pumps. The instructions say to pump until suction starts then stop pumping and the unit will continue to siphon. It meets my needs and I’m pretty happy with it so far. Complaints? The packaging. It’s a disposable bubble pack. Not reuseable. So there’s no way to store this together and keep it clean other than get something else to put it in. Tip: With the handle fully depressed, put 8 to 10 drops of 3-in-1 Oil into the top (intake) orifice (the one closest to the handle) and work the pump a few times to lubricate the piston. New, mine was quite stiff and difficult to pump. It just needed some lubrication. Periodic oiling will keep this working quite smoothly.

You Get What You Pay For....
I was finally able to use this product today. I needed to draw a sample of my oil from the dipstick to send out to an independent lab for oil analysis. The pump is not the best. The safety connectors do not connect. If there is too much pressure or suction, they pop out as well as the hose. I did leave the hoses out several days to get straight (so they would not curl when using). It took a lot of effort and pumping to get anything to flow through the tubes. I did everything right, as instructed and still a lot of issues. Eventually I got enough of oil out to send out to the lab. However, I would not recommend this product. Eventually it served its purpose, but it took a lot of work and effort along with cussing to get it to perform.

A Life Saver (well at least a sanity saver)
This little hand pump was a life saver. I had water freeze in a shower drain due to a dripping shower head and needed to get the unfrozen water out so we could get to the frozen part to thaw it. After coming up with a dozen or so Wile E. Coyote super genius plans to do this (all which failed), I decided to get this pump. Didn't need anything elaborate, just a long flexible hose and a pump that worked. This was it! After it arrived, took it out of the packaging, hooked everything up, and pumped the water out. All told, probably about 5-10 minutes. Sweet! Thawing the ice was easy from there, and probably could have just let the ambient air do the trick, but used some warm water to move things along. There were other times I could have used a pump like this, so I am a big fan. Small, compact, lightweight and easy to use. Oh, and very reasonable price too.

Pumped engine oil from my truck
I put too much oil in my 80's pickup and this easily sucked it out through the dipstick tube. I don't think it even took a hundred pumps. The hose for the dipstick is 48" as advertised and it didn't collapse with hot oil. Setup was a bit difficult, but not too bad, as the cone-shaped connector did not have enough room at the tip for the dipstick hose to go through. I took successive rings off the tip with a small diagonal clipper until I could pull it through. Then I had to clip off a sprue on the connector that would prevent the round connector going over it for a pressure-fit to the main unit. There are no instructions, but there is a picture showing the suck is the hose at the top of the pump and the spit is the hose at the bottom. The bottom hose is larger and goes into the unit easily with another pressure-fit connector. There is another hose of the same size that I didn't use. The dipstick hose fits into the dipstick tube of my late-model Subaru also, the advertised measurements were true.

Works well with some limitations
Pump works well but it doesn’t come with a hose small enough in diameter to fit into an oil dipstick tube.

Needed to remove old gas from equipment. No power so hand pump worked good. Length of tubing was just enough to teach bottom of tanks.

This pump worked and didn't break after 6l have been pumped. But it had pin size holes in the tubes which leaked and made a mess. Other then that it would've been great.
