Nordic Track Elliptical Cross Trainer E7.2

Researched options and decided on the Nordic Track E7.2 Cross Trainer. It was easy to assemble, following the simple assembly guide. In use, it is a sturdy and very stable piece of kit and is quiet, it comes with 20 in built exercise options, plus the incline ramp to provide even more variety to your exercise regime

I purchased this item in May 2019 by March 2020 it no longer worked. The power to my Cross-Trainer kept going off during this period while in use. By the time it completely died we were in lock-down ...exactly when I needed it ! I contacted ICON HEALTH & FITNESS who Manufactures NORDIC TRACK FITNESS equipment. It was August 2020 and I had discussion with customer services ,I explained my issue about the fact that it had power failure and then it died. He listened gave no advice no feedback and said he would send power- lead as it must be that. I received it sometime later and it did not work. By this point we were in the thick of cases rising lockdown predicted and I lived with a 93 year old, 86 year old and newborn, born in lockdown. I did not contact them again as we were all pre- occupied with staying well and isolating from the world at large. My parents have moved back to their home and my Grandson now had his own home. So I felt confident that if they sent someone out it would be okay now to allow them into my home. I contacted them in August 2021 after researching forums about my cross trainer and why it had power failure. I made contact with a sports engineer after calling ICON who gave their number . He laughed when I explained the issue he said he was certain it was "the lower wire harness" I have changed hundreds of these and it is common fault I said then it is a design fault so when I spoke with Icon customer services they must have known it could be this issue. They said that my purchase was out of warranty and they would not send an engineer. I explained I had contacted them a year ago with this issue so why were they considering this as my first point of contact. They were shrugging their responsibilty The engineer has said there are no appointments and the part needs ordering and it would cost me £141 and if another visit is necessary another call out charge would be necessary. So ICON well done. Be aware this lower wire harness is used in a large number of fitness equipment.

very sturdy machine, very pleased with it

Excellent build quality- very study and heavy. Also very good value for money!! Delivery was courteous and within time specified. The reason for losing a star being that there was an issue with the left pedal which meant i didnt actually use this product for just over a fortnight after purchase. Nordic were very prompt at resolving this matter however!

Bought a month ago, arrived in only a few days, easy to follow instructions for assembly (needs two people) and the pre-programmed sequences/routines are great. Very please with this purchase.

I purchased this machine about 4 weeks ago.I haven't used all the programs yet,but first impressions are very good. You get a great workout on a quality "gym standard" machine.The machine is quite substantial in both size and weight and is solid so when you workout on it it doesn't move at all.I have other Nordic track gym equipment and the build quality is consistent throughout their product range ( my experience to date with Nordic track). I would highly recommend this machine...very satisfied..Great product....Great price.
